Why are warriors failing at IM? Read the replies to this post...

Post removed.

For the record, I've been a member of this forum for more than 4 years, and I have never in that time seen such a coordinated group of unmotivated malcontents, waiting to post their excuses for not succeeding at IM in threads that could have sparked a valuable discussion.

I wish you all the best of luck in your despondent misery.

- C

P.S. I've removed my signature in this post as well, in case my posting and including a signature is seen as self promotional.

I hope you realize, I was being sarcastic.

Good luck finding copy that converts at 4-5%, 2-3% is much more realistic. Even if you spend a lot of money on a copywriter none of them make promises on conversion rates.

I would personally be very skeptical of that, it's a bold claim, especially if I was sending un targeted traffic to the offer.

Getting a good conversion is 50% good copy and 50% proper traffic generation/marketing in my opinion.

On the other hand if that is true I would love to hear some testimonials and find the offer very interesting.

Now if that's not self promotion I don't know what is.

there are way too many variables.

depends on the type of traffic. free or paid targeted or untargeted

    none guarantee's anything.

  • I just want to say, I just remembered why I don't post in the main forum anymore.

Have any of you ever heard of the Law of Attraction?

I find it very sad that every single one of you did nothing but poke a bunch of holes in the post, talking about how there is no way you can achieve that.

I've known some copywriters that have achieved 12%-15% conversion more than once in their careers. My average actually is between 3% and 4% - including some very low, and some much higher.

But all any of you can see is why NOT to do this. The post was intended to motivate you to give it a shot.

Honestly, if the only thing you got out of that post is "impossible" and "its just self promotional...", I feel sorry for you.

I will, however, say thank you for removing any chance of someone else finding value in this post. I'm removing it now.

To those who are left here without room for negativity like this in your lives - I apologize for the above posters, who obviously are not going to see success any time soon. Not with that mindset, anyway.

P.S. I've removed my signature so that mentioning the fact that I'm a copywriter doesn't come off as self-promotional.

P.P.S. For the record, I didn't see a guarantee anywhere in that post. There can never be any guarantees when it comes to conversion and profit, and any reasonable intelligent business person would know that.

There is however, one guarantee I will state here - for those of you who sat here complaining about the post, instead of using it as inspiration and taking action - I guarantee that doing nothing is the surest way to failure.
