Newbie Looking for advice

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum and i am a complete newbie and wanted to ask for advice so i can start off in the right direction.

So I am thinking that i will start off with 100 dollars and use that to buy information products.

So far im pretty sure im going to buy a membership to the war room because from the reviews i have heard only good things.

so that will leave me with a little more the 60 dollars to spend.

What do you recommend i spend the rest on what are the best products for newbies to take them step by step?

Also if there is any kinda of internet marketing you think is the easiest for me to start in please let me know.

Thanks,

Matt

You need a very good course on how to set up an affiliate marketing program OR a course on how to create a product. Both should be relatively inexpensive.

Once you decide whether to affiliate market or do your own product, then you have to decide upon a market to persue.

Once you have a market, then you need to learn how to set up a list building campaign by using a free offer and a squeeze page.

you will need an autoresponder. Get Aweber.

Then you will have to drive traffic to your landing page to get signups.

Then you can market your content (articles) and ideas and products to your list.

    Thats about it. :-)

$60 will get you a nice domain and some hosting - and even a start with aweber if you are ready for it quickly.

I say don't spend another dime until you get your WR membership because there are a lot of directions you can take and some time reading in there may help you figure out the best path for you.

There are some step by step plans all over this forum. Take some time to browse and use the search function.

      Hi Matt,

The fact about internet marketing is that you don't need to spend a
single dime to make your first sale online.

Stop listening to gurus or some other people who recommend you to buy this
or buy that because this will only make them rich and yourself more poorer.

Think about why a person want to buy a certain product on the internet.

what problems does he wants to solve?

Once you realise that, just write a couple of articles and link to
squidoo lens (with your affiliate links), you will soon make your
      first sale.

After that when you make some money, you can buy a domain
and probably an opt-in list to dig your gold mine even further....

I also recommend you get aweber right away. It's a tool you're going to have to have so splurge and get it right away.

Since your list will be small at first the cost will only be $19.99 a month. Then you can make it your goal to make enough with your new online efforts to cover your ongoing $19.99 payments.

Once you figure out what you are going to sell and what niche you want to sell it to you need to purchase two master resale rights products. One with giveaway rights you can use to grow your aweber list and the other in which you can sell to your opt-ins. Just make sure the two products are related to one another.

A source I use to purchase my own master resale rights products is Private Label Rights, Master Resale Rights, Master Resell Rights, Private Label Resale Rights, ebook, video, software which is pretty affordable.

Yes, use the forum to make sure you understand everything. The exact information you will find in products are ALL on this forum! You should spend the entire 100 dollars on other things than informative products!

Site hosting for cheap as well as domain names are a great way to put in your money!

I agree with the others, save your money for web hosting and AWeber autoresponder service account. There are plenty of free info products that you can read to learn a lot more about Internet Marketing. For instance, Google "Travis Sago" and you'll end up at his bummarketingmethod.com site -- sign up and you'll get a very good manual that walks you through starting out in Affiliate Sales using Article Marketing. Go to tony-shepherd.com and on the home page there's an excellent free book called "Quit Your Job in 90 Days" -- sign up and get it, it's got lots of great info. There are plenty of other free resources out there that can help you decide what method of selling is a good fit for you, and walk you through getting started. Hang onto that cash for a while.

And once you have read the various methods to internet marketing, you should choose one method and stick to it. It is important to stay focused on one method, rather than try this today and then try that next week.

Many people say that affiliate marketing is easy but I guess that is really up to you. You should read up as much as you can first.

You don't have to spend money on ebooks or courses if you want to make money online.. You do need to buy domains, hosting, autoresponders and of course get access to war room but apart from that you need to study different business models and decide which one is suitable for you.. Do not get into buying frenzy (it becomes kind of addictive) and save money for your business..

    Cheers,

    Hi there Matt,
As a starter I would recommend you search around on the forums here, especially if you get access to the war room. Lots of information for your to disgest, use the $60 to setup your business once you have an idea of the path you wish to follow. $60 will cover your domain name, hosting and aweber, all important tools of the trade.

Alternatively you can find lots of information for free by downloading free reports like the one in my signature, you will see these posted all over WF and some are very good and hold lots of very vauable content.

Whatever you choose to do, I wish you luck in your quest to earn money online . I am quite open to helping people get started so if at any point you get stuck or have a question, drop me a PM here and I will be happy to help out in any way I can.

Before you go out and spend your money on a domain, hosting and aweber with out a real game plan. I would keep the $60 dollars in the bank for now and focus on free methods. You could sign up in CPA networks(free), Clickbank(free) and become a affiliate. Find something you want to promote and then use squidoo, or hubpages to build review pages about the product with your affiliate links in them. Both are free. Write keyword rich articles and summit them free article directories. Use socialmarker.com(free) to get social traffic. While you are building your business keep coming to the forum to ask questions and learn.

    Matt,
As with everyone else , I agree. You don't need to invest in a WSO or anything of the sorts until you have a firmer grasp on IM. I have learned TONS just by browsing this forum and I already had a background in SEO/M. I cannot vouch for the War Room as I do not have access to it, but considering the quality free information here, the war room must be amazing. You do not need hosting as squidoo is free and you can easily direct traffic to it. As stated just take some time and learn before you try. Also 30DC is what made me branch out from SEO for my last company and into IM.

P.S. Sorry for rambling, been a long day and I need sleep!

Don't spend your $60 on info products at first. You should first try and get some free ones. (I have a few good ones in my signature for free. They got me started) Then you should keep the money for the following"

    1. Web hosing. (hostgator has a good special)
    2. Autoreponder to build a list (Aweber has a 1$ for first month trial)
    3. Keep the rest of the money until you need it.

First start seeing your own sales, and then spend more. I suggest affiliate marketing until you get more experience and then start your own product.

I agree with a previous comment. if you're old and working with $60, I would register a good domain name and grab yourself some good web hosting. Keep learning all you can on affiliate marketing as you promote your products.

A positive attitude, a good work ethic, and some great affiliate products to promote will get you far.

Good luck at your affiliate marketing venture if you don't give up, on sure you will go very far good luck!
