I'm getting ready to hire someone to build a 7 To10 page wordpress site to promote
some musicians & bands that has there songs on youtube.

I have no problem giving theme my wordpress login info, but i do with paypal
should i get the code myself for the paypal button & give it to them or give them
access to my paypal.account.

Come on... you know the answer to this question.

I wouldn't give my Mother my PayPal login codes.

No provider EVER needs your paypal logins but for your use i would look for a cart or you will have to create a bunch of buttons.

You can create users that only have certain permissions.

You can create a user with a separate email and password and specify the permissions they have. So you create a user that only has access to the button factory. When they log in they can't see or access any other parts of the account. When the job is done you remove the user.

It's a feature designed for your identical situation.

This doesn't sound like a bright idea to me. To each their own.

You need to learn, Paypal and WordPress, don't ever give login to anyone.

Would you give Bernie Madoff access to your Paypal account? At least you know who Bernie Madoff is. This other person you're about to hire - why would you give them access to your Paypal information and super personal/life threatening info?

    Hi C,

As a rule, before you hand out your WP login information or Paypal login information, ensure that you trust people implicitly. This means getting to know folks by doing in-depth due diligence through their social media accounts, their blogs, all over the place.

I'd have to know someone inside out before I give them either piece of information. That process would take weeks or months.

    cpacashman,

    Ummmmm....no

This is beyond what I would do on Fiverr, besides not sure I would trust anyone with my PayPal account.

Get the code yourself and then email it to them.

I wouldn't trust anyone going into my PayPal account and you shouldn't either.

    Hope this helps.

I don't think so. They are your pals as long as you pay. BTW, I have noticed that vendors on FIVE errors are a lot less industrious and they charge more. Yeah, these workers are unpro. Like this behavior is so common. Also, there is no one in queue. It is not as if they are drowning in work, but they are too lazy to get the gig done in the time frame which they specify and I have to extend em.

Absolutely not. I don't care what site it is, I would never give anyone any type of information like that.
