Have you checked your landing page for the product. People often bounce off when they see a non-reliable landing page.

I also tried some Bing, GA, and some CB advertising.

Within 3 weeks I had approx. 250 unique hits, but not a single sale.
I believe I've done everything with the highest standards in mind; this book actually has high value, unlike many other products sold on CB. The website is also of high quality.

What would you recommend looking at to increase my sales?

    Thank you!
    Hello.
Well if this is just an ebook then, Amazon Kindle, but if you have custom website already with ebook niche, then go for full marketing on that niche,

Never try one thing, you must have a full marketing package for any niche and product.

One of the challenges with the personal improvement/self-help field in general is connecting on the exact desire your prospect has when they reach your site...you have tried to cover them all in one sales message/page...low confidence, wanting to get a date, advance in your career/business to make more money, etc...

The mistake almost everyone makes (believe me I see it VERY frequently) is to market the solution (guide to build confidence) and then market to all of the solutions that come with that *hoping* you hit on one that matches the person arriving at your site.

Instead, you want to FOCUS your messaging on very specific desire...example - have a message/video/page for "Becoming A Winner At Getting the Girl/Guy" - another for "They Wondered How I Looked So Comfortable Telling My Boss To Shove It!" (A Guide for confidence in moving careers or starting a business), etc...

Then you can highly target the traffic (either by guiding affiliates or through ads) to each of these landing pages and there is a perfect match of desire, expectation and product positioning.

    Make sense?

You can start with one focused landing page to begin with and then expand into others as you progress

I think Jeff is right: Narrow down your Niche.

I mean, as far as money goes; the commission they charge is much lower, which allows me to sell the book for 1/3 of the price I've listen on CB and still earn the same.

It's too early to pull the plug on CB and make the switch, but it's definitely plan B.

What do you think about Amazon Kindle and Createspace, can you actually make serious income through this channel?
        Hello,

I am not saying to quit anything, just add your ebook to , Kindle Direct Publishing, it is free, and your book could do well if it is a good book, learn about Kindle Direct Publishing, super easy,
        Thanks Rob

Consider creating a Landing Page (and content) for: I. Confidence (etc.) II. Awesome Sex. Life III. Making Money. (And everything else ...)

They can all lead to your homepage eventually if you like.

Something that really changed my perspective on this was Gary Bencivenga's advice/article on Bullet 16 of MarketingBullets.com (You will have to sign up at his Webpage ...)

However it will be well worth it. To quote the article: "Intercept your customers precisely where they are looking for someone like you."

Exactly Jonathan - and in my case, the advice comes from personal experience in this EXACT space :-)

I have both the scars and the rewards to show for my learning experiences here

You will face same problem that you have now with kindle. You will also put off affiliates from promoting your product if you offer the product across several platforms.

Have you reached out to big affiliates in your niche?

Have you advertised to potential affiliates?

    Why isn't the price shown?

3 Things that come to mind for me:

1- Not enough buy now buttons. You don't want to over or under do them.

    2- Price. Could be cheaper.

3- Traffic: You said you have affiliates marketing. How 'targeted' is their traffic?

Aside from that, I like the landing page, design and ad copy.

I'm not sure how you or your affiliates are targeting so it's hard to comment on this. Perhaps your sales page could use some optimizing?

  • Roi,

    Congrats on creating great product.

You can have the best product out there, but if it's not what people want or need then it doesn't matter. Have you run a survey to see what people want?

Also you may want to look at your marketing material and the title of your product. Apparently it is not interesting enough. I would start changing things up one at a time to see if your conversions improve.

    I believe you did.

But you should never create the product first, then try to find someone to sell it to.

Find the niche first, then give them whatever it is they're looking for.

You have an emotional attachment to your product. Bad for business. Great for ego.

I think Clickbank success comes with amount of affiliates planning to promote your product. So you should have an affiliate page, make some JV deals and pay for some advertising to get your sales off the ground. Once it is up and running more people will take promote your product.

  • You can create one or two more version of the current landing page with some tweaks. A/B testing is very important. May be in the current landing page something is missing which is not making any sales. Anther thing is ... the visitors you are having are they actually interested in your product?

Millions of things could go wrong. Hope you find it.
