Here's a tip: focus on getting targeted traffic ... it's much better than random "free" traffic and you don't need as much to get the same amount of conversions.

Whatever way you most enjoy working yields the greatest benefits because you will enjoy learning about the stream, practicing the skills to become adept working the channel and eventually, free traffic will flow through the channel persistently.

Research the top 5 places where active buyers in your target market spend their time... I usually outsource this kind of jobby to "fiverr"... for a tenner

It really depends on where your market hides out. It also depends on how large and responsive your market ("followers") are. The ultimate goal should be to build your own audience, and to be able to influence it with credibility. Try to grow into a position of some authority on the subject matter.

ie. Twitter may be great for some, yet horrible for others.

Your idea about mastering "free" traffic from 5 different platforms isn't too bright. You will be eaten alive by these platforms.

Can you tell why these companies (i.e. Twitter, Reddit etc.) do exist? BECAUSE they are ad companies, they thrive on your so-called "free" traffic methods where you relentlessly post amazing content for a little traction/gain while they serve ads besides your content and pocket ad dollars.

YouTube is the only platform where you can create a stand-alone business with "free" traffic as long as you create quality content on a daily basis. Don't let YouTube make a cut by selling your own products. YouTube wouldn't mind because you're enriching their use experience. Got it?

Absolute best way I know is to create a product and proactively distribute through affiliates - this is free in terms of $$ but of course, takes time - at least until you build some momentum in your niche market and then you will have affiliates coming to find you IF you gain enough momentum.
