Landing page set up to promote click bank offers

Hi everyone, I am need of some help to get traffic to my website to promote my landing page. So far I have a landing page and thank you page set up, and after the thank you page I have another link which takes the subscribers to the offer page. I have spent about $160 on Udimi Solo Ads, but did not see any conversions, but only received 3 leads (No Sale). I do understand that its about getting good quality traffic to build the list, so I would like some help on how I can get better conversion rates, any suggestions would be really helpful, thanks.

    Hi RealBuzOp,
Solo Ads can be hit and miss.

It would probably be best to get some free traffic to your pages to start with or use Bing Ads - try and get a free $50 coupon to start you off with.

Facebook Ads is another option, where you can start with $5 per day.

Once you have found out what works you can scale up your payments, but if you start off by spending smaller amounts on advertising to start with it will help to cut your costs until you can find out what works.

    I hope this helps.

how many clicks/traffics you got from solo ads?
If you got high traffics but low conversion, the problem may from your landing page/sales letter.
Try to create more landing pages and do some split test.

Getting traffic to your page isn't your problem. You already know how to get traffic by paying for it.

It may not be the right traffic, but that's another issue.

What you need to work on is conversion. You already know that you can't keep paying $53 per lead.

Without knowing more about your target prospects, your ad copy, landing page, etc., it's hard to give specific advice. But it looks like you created a disconnect somewhere along the line.

Until you have more information, I'd start with Ged's advice about testing different traffic sources. You spent $160 on solo ads, but you never mentioned how many clicks that bought.

Next, look at the message-to-market match. Even a so-so landing page will convert if you are making the right offer to the right people. Get that part wrong, and nothing will help.

Second, look at the "scent trail" you're leaving. Does it flow from the ad copy to the landing page to the TY page to the CB offer page? Is the graphic design consistent? The wording?

As you're learning, there's more to it than throwing up a couple of web pages and buying some ads.

Thanks for the helpful information, please see below the answers to your questions.

Without knowing more about your target prospects, your ad copy, landing page, etc., it's hard to give specific advice. But it looks like you created a disconnect somewhere along the line.

A: My target market is make money online, business opp, online business, online marketing, e-commerce, internet marketing and passive income etc.

Until you have more information, I'd start with Ged's advice about testing different traffic sources. You spent $160 on solo ads, but you never mentioned how many clicks that bought.

      A: I had about 230 clicks

Second, look at the "scent trail" you're leaving. Does it flow from the ad copy to the landing page to the TY page to the CB offer page? Is the graphic design consistent? The wording?

A: Yes it follows from landing page, to the thank you page and then to the offer page. Please see below so you can review my website

When I looked just now, I still get the same problem Brent mentioned with the email field. I also took a look at the source code. I'm guessing that the problem is somewhere in the style sheet - maybe the font color and the background image are conflicting. Check with the support people for your lander.

Beyond that, I didn't see any kind of reference to the ad copy, just a generic biz-opp squeeze page. Nothing really wrong with the page copy, but nothing special, either.

What was the ad copy? (You can PM it to me if you'd like.)

Right now, I don't see anything that separates you from every other biz-opp out there. Nothing that really creates any curiosity.

Maybe try a curiosity headline, like:

Landing Page Design, funnel for lead capture optin, must be right, then you have understand how affiliate marketing works, lots to learn, sales don't come easy, study all this stuff before you spend money on paid traffic.
Many newbies think, build it and they will come, no way, you will get it right one day, but get ready for the learning curve, so niche has to be right, design has to be right, optin for list and much more,

    Good luck

Average cost is around $0.40 per, so probably 300-400.

Even for Udimi-quality traffic, this is a horrible opt-in rate.

Your squeeze page must be atrocious.

Post a link to it so we can give you some pointers before you waste any more money on traffic.

You only got three opt-ins from 230 clicks?

EDIT: I just tried to subscribe and when I enter text in the field it is invisible. Change the text color to black.

This is with an email in the form. If you look really close you can see it.

Is this a landing page we're talking about?
White font on a white background? No wonder, you've got only three leads.

Which software did you use to make this landing page?

You have to check your landing page. 3 leads from a $160 solo on Udimi ISN'T odd. By saying that, i'm NOT saying that this is typical results. Not by a long shot. I'm saying that, not everyone on Udimi will get you the best results. Some people on there really do suck - and they intentionally do it.

One guy i know on there straight up TELLS YOU that you can expect a 50% conversion rate because he will be sending you bulk leads purchased from whatever throwaway website.

I've seen and heard of similar results before from Udimi members. So if you're going to use Udimi, pick your solo vendors carefully.

At one point on Udimi, i was only looking for "offline only/no mobile" leads. (but nowadays my mobile sales are poppin.)

One vendor i asked said that her list is 97% mobile leads. Yet she's one of the top vendors (in terms of sales) on Udimi. And... people seem to keep getting sales from her traffic. But for me, the solo was super garbage. Another guy (another top seller on Udimi), gave me 50 clicks.... and only 1 lead on the first day. The campaign with him ended up being 5 leads from 350 clicks. Super sucked.

    What is your squeeze page?

    Hi RealBuzOp,

its probably best to join Bing Ads and then choose some keywords yourself - because you will see what prices you will pay for them.

The other thing you could do and it will only cost you $20 is to advertise your 7 Ways To Create A Passive Income For Life on the Warrior Classified here on the forum.

    Have an advert headline:

7 Ways To Create A Passive Income For Life

then in the advert itself have a link to your website and give them a bit of detail of what your video is about - you could do very well.

That way you will only pay $20 and you will get a good chance to see how much interest you can generate as the forum is for people that are interested in internet marketing.

It's typing in white text on your white sign up field. Very confusing. And change the headline... and the background. Also, i brought it up on my mobile phone also, and it needs to be condensed and revised.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11283498].message }}
  • I would have to agree on the comments above with solo ads-- that it can be a hit or miss. If your list is not converting well, get another list. Solo ads can be expensive so I suggest before paying high, you need to bargain the price and ask the vendor if you can try to run a test campaign first. If the conversion is good for the test campaign, then you can avail whatever the price is for the solo ad list and run a full campaign.

Another thing you can do here is to NOT DEPEND on solo ads only. There are a lot of ways to grow your list such as PPC, SEO, and of course writing your own content and using this as your marketing tool to get quality subscribers.

    Hi RealBuzOpp,

that's good - I think you have real potential to do well with the Warrior Classifieds and at $20
its a lot cheaper than the SOLO ads you paid for.

Probably a lot cheaper than Bing ads as well.

If your biz opp has an actual (physical) product attached to it, you could also look into eBay classifieds. Last time I looked, a listing was $10/month, but that was a few years ago.

That's a good idea by John,
$10 per month for listing on Ebay is great value.

U.S Freeads used to be quite good and they only charge a few dollars but I think Ebay Classifieds would be better.

Soloads can be very hit and miss.
How did you pick your soloads provider?
I think you should also consider other ways to drive traffic such as PPC, PPV or Facebook ads.
