Super affiliates and payout commission % ?

I see standard on networks like ClickBank... payouts to affiliates are 75%...

However what are these people paying super affiliates??

I see some vendors advertising 90% commission?.....

So basically after super affiliate payout + clickbank payout... the vendor made nothing?

What percentage of these top products sales are from super affiliates vs everyone else?

no they get an email list (worth a lot)

and they make out well with the 'one time offers' (OTOs) that the customer sees after the initial purchase

What is your definition of "super affiliate?"

If I have a front end product that sells for X amount and I have a sales funnel with many other products, I can pay affiliates 100% of the FE and make a huge amount of profit on the back end with a proven buyer who cost me zero to acquire.

Buyer acquisition is a huge part of the cost of doing business.

The vendor made money on the new customer acquisition. This is where all the money is at in business. Any business. Some people are glad to pay you DOUBLE the commission of the cost of their product, just so they can get their hands on that customer. Because their average customer might be worth $300-$3,000 to them.

That's why some vendors offer 100% commission, or even 200% commission. They want the customer. They will bleed for the customer.

Your calculations and assumptions are a bit whimsical.

If you are giving away 100% on the front end then you would absolutely not do so without a full funnel in place.

The vendor will have a number of upsells, side sells, cross sells and down sells, that's where they are making the money along with some of those being high ticket.

Also as has been mentioned the vendor gets another addition to his buyers list.

The idea is to get them into the funnel.

So you see if super affiliates are sending boat loads of traffic to a vendors offer and taking 100% of the front end, everybody wins.

Everybody has different methods to make money and build a list, some people will use paid traffic to make money and some will create a product and give away the sale.

In the end the objective is the same.

Oh the product is just an excuse to build a list of subscribers. But the best kind of list, a buyers list which is worth more than the product itself. Because somebody ahí buys from you once will probably buy for you in the future.

Nope...The backend is were the money is made, vendors build their list and make repeat sales over the coming weeks, months even years.

    SIMPLE.

It's a strategy to Build an Email List for Zero cost.

The digital product cost anything to download, and you have a new prospect who is a buyer and with more offers in back end probably will buy again....

...AND there are after purchasing a lot of cross sell, upsell, etc, which can easily turn in profit even on the front end.

    WIN-WIN situation.

As others have said, the key is to know your true ROI (return on investment) for each lead and customer you bring into your business. Pretty much every successful Clickbank product owner has a portfolio or products beyond their intro-level or "tripwire" product - these often include continuity (membership programs), coaching programs, seminars, upsell product bundles, consumables (protein shakes, supplements, etc...), software, etc...

These additional upsell/cross-sell products may or may not also be sold on Clickbank. You can sometimes tell in the CB Marketplace as they break down Initial Sale as well as Rebill value and rebill % in their stats. Though this is just a start, it is quite possible that additional sales are made outside of CB to that same customer list as well.

These vendors make most of there money on the back-end of there sales funnel. Lets say they offer 75% for a $30 product the vendor usually have a capture page on there website to get customers into there sales funnel and onto there Email List so they can market to there subscribers over and over again and pitch high ticket items.

    mrdeflation,

I would say these are on a case by case basis. In some cases the super affiliate may get the front end offer and they split the upsell. I don't think there is a universal across the board percentage.

Honestly, if they offer you a 90% commission, there is probably a reason for it.

Usually super high commissions mean that the conversion rate is low and they desperately need the market attention OR that they're making their money on the backend. Even losing money on an initial offer is valuable since it means a potential upsale and starts the prospect up the "yes ladder" (and like everyone mentioned, that is where the money gets made).

90% commission for me those not look like a something real. Related to affiliates better check twice everything since for some reason I never trust them in general (even if I know people which got nice money over affiliate programs).
