Lots Of Traffic But Very Little To No Opt ins/Conversation

Hello guys, am having a little bit of a hard converting my visitors to my landing page having to do with the 2 Week Diet from Clickbank. I'm a newbie to IM, and this is my first ad. So far I've gotten only 3 opt ins out of over 5000 views on my landing page. I have NO IDEA why am not getting any decent leads..I purchased traffic on Fiverr from traffic gigs totaling ~$25 and they seemed to deliver the traffic, however am having second thoughts on whether or not it was actual targeted traffic. I also purchased rotator ads, but it doesn't seem to convert despite the fact that it's sending traffic to the website. I did some Guest Posting on health forums, and I suspect most if not all 3 leads came from it because it was highly targeted. But am still at puzzled as to why am not getting any opt ins.

Please any thoughts on this would be highly appreciated!

It could be a lot of things, but when I'm trying out a new landing page I usually start with a solo ad.

You can go to https://udimi.com/ and do a little research on vendors in the diet niche to see who has an acceptable track record.

Start with 50 visitors from several vendors and see which seem to convert the best, then buy more from that vendor (if I get decent action, I'll jump to 200 visits).

At least that's how I do it.

If you still get no opt-ins from some good vendors, it's definitely something wrong with your opt-in page.

I don't trust much in the way of traffic coming from fiverr.

Stay away from Fiverr traffic my friend.

Go to Facebook groups solo ads testimonials and buy solo ads from there

You would absolutely get more conversions

Hi Mabu Map, I've never heard of Facebook groups solo ads testimonials. Do they only cater to one specific niche or something? If so, which niche and what's the success rate?
      Thanks

The problem are your traffic sources.

Fiverr and rotator sites dont offer you good quality traffic. And if after 5000 visits you only get 3 leads, then it's safe to assume that the bulk of those leads came from Fiverr and the rotator sites... and that the 3 leads came from the health forum you were on.

Keep posting on the health forum, but change your paid advertising sources. Are you using Google Adwords or Bing Ads? Facebook? Any mobile advertising?

Hi Randall, thanks for your response. No, I haven't used Facebook ads, Bing, Google Ads or anything of that sort. They all seem intimidating to me, and kinda costly. I remember trying Google ads years ago, and it just seemed like a money pit to me back then. You pay so much money for clicks and yet get VERY little in return. I don't know..maybe a lot has changed since then. I'll look into it again and check out the other venues.

Because you are buying junk traffic. Fiverr is useless for optins, I tried a while back.

If you're in the MMO space, then buy some solo ads and see if your conversions improve. They should!

If they don't then you need to rethink your optin page.

If you PM me your optin URL I can take a look and help you a lot more...

Most traffic sellers on Fiverr use bots, so you don't get real human traffic. Can I see your page? I might be able to offer some tips for conversion improvement.

Guys, much thanks for your replies. The main reason I chose to use Fiverr was because of the pricing...$5 instead of $50 or more. I also read good reviews on some of the traffic gigs, and most of them were positive and that's what sold me. I may have been fooled by all that, but lesson learned right? Like I said, it's my first time doing this..I've always wanted to delve into IM for years now, but have been very reluctant because I didn't know the terrain very well, and it seemed very intimidating with too many moving parts. However, am here now and decided for sure to give it a go once and for all. I'm yet to make first sale, and can't wait for that moment. I want to prove to myself that this whole thing works, even though I've been very skeptical of all the claims others have made about making TONS of money IM'ng.

You are right to ask whether the traffic you bought was targeted.

Given the sources you mentioned and the pricing, a better question might be how much of that "traffic" was even human.

Fiverr traffic gigs are notorious for sending bot traffic, which will spin the page visit meter but nothing else. For many newbies, they see that and post positive reviews for other newbies to be taken in on. There is also pressure to leave positive reviews out of fear of retribution (you give me a bad review, I'll give you a bad review). This is common on any platform from eBay to Uber which relies on user reviews.

@ JohnMcCabe. Interesting...no wonder I got taken advantage of. Well...lesson learned. I've only been on Fiverr for about a month I'd say. I won't make that mistake again and would advise others to be cautious.

Even if you're using UNTARGETED traffic, are you using some sort of SELF-SELECTING qualification system? There's one cheap way of doing this that can explode your conversions: get them to email you using a non-live link.

    Hi K,

The best question to ask yourself:

"Out of these 5000 views, how many are human beings who love the free 2 week diet insight that I offer on my blog, through posts and videos?"

When they love you and the knowledge you share, they buy your stuff, or they buy on your suggestion. But if people do not love you and your stuff - aka, they come in cold, instead of being piping hot, qualified leads who dig your brand - then you will tend to run into conversion problems.

PPC has a steep learning curve. Very few people ever learn how to turn a profit with it. You may spend several thousand dollars just getting a campaign profitable because you have to test and tweak and test some more.

That being said, if you are willing to first study and then have the money to test, it can be wildly profitable. Most people skip the "study" part and lose all their money.

    Hi Koboko122

There can be many problems for non-conversion here. First thing you should do is stop purchasing traffic from Fiverr and rotador ads. What you need is the right traffic and audience. If people who aren't interested visit your landing page, they won't convert.

It's that simple. You should seriously focus on the target audience and make sure they are from the directed niche. Second thing can be that your landing page is not designed correctly.

Make sure the Call To Action button is visible to the user in a glance and they know what to do next. Many times a user doesn't convert because the landing page is not clear about where to go next.

@ Bella, I've decided to stop using Fiverr so-called "traffic" gigs and am researching targeted traffic resources based on the recommendations on here.

As per landing page, I guess it's trial and error for now. I can PM you my landing page URL and have you provide constructive criticism if you like?

Taking a good look into the content you're providing would be a good place to start.

Are you addressing your targeted audiences issue, relating to your audience because you once had that same issue, AND providing a solution?

Yes, you need to find the right traffic to read your content but if you aren't providing a solution to the problem then that traffic will not even read your message.

From my experience it is difficult to get conversions from sending traffic directly to a salespage for weight loss products. You need instead to build an email list by offering a free ebook for example in return for email sign up.

There's a big difference between "showing you the ropes" and handing over the information to become a direct competitor, information often gleaned from hard won experience.

Don't count on a lot of response to this type of question, especially on a public forum. And if you do get some response, make sure it isn't just a thinly veiled sales pitch. Spammers and scammers love questions like this.

This is true, however, he only has 3 opt-ins. Followup is clearly not
his issue this early in the game. He needs more opt-ins so he can
actually have someone to follow up with.

Wow. 5000 clicks is a lot to only get 3 opt-ins. Sounds like
Fiverr may have been sending you clicks from one of those
    automatic traffic exchanges.

If you're looking to go the free route, I suggest you take
a look at Herculist Safelist. That's the only list I've used
that delivers actual opt-ins and signups. As a free member,
you can advertise to 1000 people, once a day. Free members
have to view ads in order to get credits to show their own
opportunity, so you will at least get human eyeballs on your
    offer.

The other way I test out my funnel is in facebook groups.
Since you're in the weightloss niche, join weightloss and
fitness groups that allow you to post ads. Also join groups
where you want to share your knowledge and network
with other people in your same niche.

I always get opt-ins and sales when I post in FB groups. It's
free, targeted, and people can take a look at your profile
to get to know you. Make sure your profile is put together well
with a mix of personal photos, articles, videos, and quotes so
    it doesn't look spamy.

Not sure what you're even running traffic to, but they have an exit pop off their sales page which helps them and not you.

I grabbed the image even though you have no good traffic yet, it won't help if you have a shitty opt in so use what works for them, or rather swipe from. Use the layout to match your optin. They have the right idea even if their copy sucks.

    https://goo.gl/AVCnYp

Anyway this will help your optin issue once you get decent traffic. You can run FB ads for $5 a day but there is a learning curve and the lead cost is probably too high for you being so new.

Just find some similar examples to learn from.

    Hi

as others have pointed out, the problem is your traffic source.Super cheap traffic is worse than no traffic cause it will nickel and dime you death with NO chance of achieving your desired result.

Even when you have highly targeted traffic it's getting harder and harder to just slap up an optin-page and collect emails. To many people have been burned by affiliates that over promise and under deliver on the free offer.

I have seen the 2 week diet and it's a huge flashy launch with 1000's of competing affiliates who probably have ad budgets that would blow your mind.

    So, what can you do?

The first thing would be to look over all of the information on their jv page >> https://www.2weekdiet.com/affiliates/ (this link might get removed, if so look up 2 week diet jv page on google, it's in the first two results)

secondly, your going to have to find out who needs to lose weight fast and why.The more desperate their situation the better.

    some examples:

Business people who have an imortant upcoming meeting or public presentation that want to look their best.

Actors or Actresses that have an upcoming audition.

People with health problems that have been told they must lose weight or risk losing their life.

you get the idea, people with pressing problems.

Once you have an audience in mind, then you can tailor your marketing materials and message to drive sales.

It's a big learning curve but at least you have taken the first steps and if you stick with it you will eventualy succeed.

If you want to start or build a sustainable online business, you must build your own email list, because as they say the money is in the list.By building that email list will allow you to make tons of money by sending out simple emails.

A lot of people loses their money when thy try to build their list and for me that is a big problem.
But what if I could show you a way HOW to get paid building a big email list or what if I could show you a way HOW to earn multiple income streams to build your own email list.
