Hi Warriors!

What if I have a product and need to have affiliates but don't set any cash prize on the product? are the affiliates still be willing to promote my product? in places like WarriorPlus, JVZoo etc.
As I just started, I don't enough budget to afford that.

Any alternate ways to attract affiliates and have more sales?
The product, the landing page, sales letters and other needed things' quality are good enough.

Added: Cash Prize is different than commission, I'm willing to give up to %75 in commission. I don't mean to get a free promotion by affiliates.

Thanks

affiliate promote products that they think will convert.

You need to have a real good sales page with no leaks, and a product that is good and unique. Affiliates will look at many different things when deciding to promote a product, some will have different criteria than others.

The idea of a cash bonus is just that, a bonus and for most it is not a deal breaker if you do not have one

If the product converts than of course all affiliates would be willing to promote, remember that those cash prices only refer to a few people so most of the affiliates are not interested anyway.

Why would the affiliate want to promote your product for free? By saying "no cash prize", do you mean NO commissions?

Cash Prize is different than commission, I'm willing to give up to %75 percent in commission. cash prize is to encourage affiliates to promote more and is given to the tops on the leaderboard.

There are many that are going to be swayed by the bonus or commission. People do not like to work for free unfortunately.

A cash prize might get you a little extra effort during a launch, but it's not a deal killer.

Once you have the basics covered (see Al's post above), the determining factor is going to be Earnings Per Click (EPC). How much will the affiliate earn for every click he sends you?

If your commission is $100, and 1/100 clicks buys, the EPC is $1.00. If the affiliate can send clicks to the offer for under that dollar, it stands to be a profitable promotion.

One of the best things you can do is promote your own product and generate some EPC figures of your own. This means sales made in a similar fashion to an affiliate - no counting sales from your pre-built house list, opt-ins from your landing page, etc.

    Things I consider:

    #1 High EPC

    #2 High conversion rate

    #3 Low refund rate

I've been on a few leaderboards and while bonuses are nice they have no bearing on the products I choose to promote.

I don't think you need a prize to give away. If you have a good product that will convert affiliates will promote it! Of course you need to have a strong commission also.

No you don't need a cash prize for your affiliates especially if you are asking the question you probably aren't at the point where you are about to have a big launch with big affiliates who are used to getting cash prizes for their promotions.

Personally, I always thought cash prizes and Launch contests for Affiliates was overrated. Not entirely irrelevant as it can motivate many top affiliates but not crucial, imo

So what you're saying is you're still going to pay commissions for your affiliates but you're thinking of a different prize to offer aside from the commission? A commission is already a prize in itself but if you're willing to reward your affiliates with even more, then find something that will generate more income for them. "If they do this, then..."
