Hosting plan for several sales pages / how to use directories with one domain?

Hey warriors
will launch few products in the coming soon,
As you may know that every single product will use a unique URL within the context of describing each product, i was doing some search about this matter, I found some topic with short replies advising to have one domain name and then add them all to that domain using directories,
I am not sure about how to add all products to one domain name, which could save cost to purchase a domain name for each product,
could you please advise about this, with some explanations so that will be a practical solution to consider,
Many thanks in advance!

Effectively, your web site is no different than your local hard drive where domainname.com is the same as C://

Just like your hard drive, you can organize different files on your domain.
    http://domainname.com/product1.html
    http://domainname.com/product2.html
    http://domainname.com/product3.html

or organize each of those files into separate folders (directories)

    http://domainname.com/product1/index.html
    http://domainname.com/product2/index.html
    http://domainname.com/product3/index.html

In each case, the URL for a given product is the domain name followed by a /, followed by a folder name (if you have organized that way), followed by the file name (i.e. product1.html or index.html).

Because index.html is the "default" file name in each folder, the URLs for the last set of examples may optionally omit the file name:

    http://domainname.com/product1/
    http://domainname.com/product2/
    http://domainname.com/product3/

      Thanks Sid Hale,
Actually, I have a domain name,
but for the products to create sales page for each product independently,
I thought will be like this example:
      1) mydomainname.com
      -- www.productone.com

I need each product (sales page) to have its domain name as a part of the descriptive details itself,
in the case to have a unique domain name for all products,
some products will be health care, some others will be about marketing, eBiz, or whatever else,
so in this scenario, it won't fit to use a single domain for all, the product will be just as an extension, as it's listed on the website itself, which is not really my purpose,
      thanks for the efforts anyway.
The following could be at the same host location, is this possible?

        Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yes, all domains can be hosted on the same server.

Buy a web hosting package that allows multiple domains, and then you simply point each domain to the same DNS.

Personally, I use this configuration of subdomains for a directory site and no reason you can't do the same.

    accountant.directoryname.com
    bank.directoryname.com
    cardealer.directoryname.com

    Just use:

    product1name.yourmainname.com
    product2name.yourmainname.com
    product3name.yourmainname.com

    Thank you.

or you can add it this way - Just depends on what you like best.

      domain.com/product1

These subdomains or extension domains work good with WordPress because you get to keep your site design or you can change it. Also, you can manage the site separately from your main site.

It will still be on the same domain but you can keep it separate from other products or services or sites.

      That works well, too.

It allows you to begin branding your business (yourmainname.com) and keeps your domain registration fees down to the minimum.

How many products are we talking?
Are they related or somewhat in the same niche?

    mixmedia,

It would depend on if the product are related or not. If they are unrelated products, you should have a separate website for each.

You would be much better off using a single parent domain name and using a hosted retail provider like shopify create the product pages, where the url automatically has the product name/title.
