Help! What would you do?

I know about SEO. I know about PPC. I know about blogging, social media promotions, automation tools, email marketing, lead generation. I have done this all for companies. Once a product or service is there, I have enough ideas on how to sell it and rank it. I can deal with Wordpress and other CMSs and even a little html and css. I want to start something for myself but can't seem to decide on a topic, model, product, etc. Problem is I have no specific passion or interests and everything everywhere seems so damn saturated.

If you had 6 months to build something, and decent money to do so (up to $2,000 monthly), where would you personally start? Are there $$ packages out there that I can legit flesh out, that have a good starting base for content, that you would recommend? I really don't care what I just want to get past that START part and can pay for it too lol. Am I dreaming that there's something I can get going on that's already built and just needs me to run it? So tired of wasting my time going thru a whole funnel of stuff that ends up being How to Build a Wordpress Website With No Experience or How to Dropship on Shopify or something like that. Guess I'm looking for someone with a silver platter lol. Let me give you my money!

    Stop looking at what other people are doing. That's your problem here. You keep getting stuck on FOMO / FOBO. Pick a thing you know will work and do it. Put your head down and get to work.

    What if a business coach looked around at other business coaches, then said to themselves, "Ehhh...there are so many other business coaches, it's so saturated...it'll never work."

    People lose because they beat themselves. Especially at this level. It isn't a competitor. It's us.

    If you know SEO/PPC then what's stopping you from creating a lead generation system that brings you qualified prospects for an offer you make a commission on?

    The important consideration I'd make is that the product is easy to replace with a competitor if something happens to that provider.

      The ever best piece of advice you can get. If you like to take action then you should not even scroll down to see more suggestions. You need one to go ahead and I think it is more than that.

    If you have the money, there is no harm looking for something like that but it won't be worth it. Someone may give you their site with great traffic but if you're not focused, it won't work.

    It seems like you're just everywhere. You need to stick with one-two things that complement each other and make some money out of it. How you want to earn money will work in short-term but won't be effective in the long run.

    So, stop looking for the easy way out and be a hardworking person- like all the successful people out there!

    Life just isn't like that. Why would someone share their great ideas for a surefire business on an open forum?

    To invite hundreds or even thousands of people to compete with them? even after you reminded them about saturation?

    "Tell me what business to do that will make me money" threads ALL fail because they are not taking into consideration reality. Many of us more experienced marketers here do actually have a few things we see working but again

    Why in the world would we share that for potentially thousands to come in and mess up?

    Thats not paranoia. They've done it before. The answer to your question 5-7 years ago might be to provide a service like SEO. High pay fairly straightforward work. Well, every fool and his pet chimp thought they could do it ( and buy tools to make it easy - spam to death) after reading a few blogs. They messed up the entire industry. I still work in that niche but inside sub SEO niches that the masses don't know how to operate in.

    Why would I share that now for them to mess up again? So now I am like many others here. I am not sharing that publicly and for free on the internets. I do sometimes but in ways I can control (most niches can accomodate a few hundred - thousands tend to spam and do junk making it bad for all involved)

    People (I am NOT saying you) cry like a baby...help a fellow warrior out. Seriously?

    They (again not speaking of you) signed up for a free account and think okay! now I am owed a business that rakes in the cash!

    Aint go happen Sal.

      I think that is so far the best answer to any thread. Clear, to the point and reality. And when also teach something to show that they want to help you, that is also to make some money for themeselves by teaching you. There must be some interest when they teach how to make money. Actually reality is we need to use our mind, find the way and do it.

    Up to $2,000 monthly is fantastic money for the startup! Organize team, try to hire one or two workers online who will see the future vision of your project and start working. That money will soon pay off and you will get a decent profit.

    Hi H,

    Stretch the 6 months, to 2 years.

    Then....toss the 2 years out of the window.

    Then, realize that rushing things or adding the time element will lead to you making the same mistake, as long as you are in a hurry.

    Then, learn how to build a successful business by modeling pros who bust their tail, help people, build friendships with top folks in their niche.

    Then, monetize your passions.

    Then, persist for a bit.

    Then slowly and steadily earn more money because you did things the right way.

    Then become a full time online entrepreneur.

    All the best.

    It seems saturated. And some of it is saturated. Your job is to break it down into niches, small ones, till you find one that is not saturated.

    Think about this:

    You could be a marketer, and fight all the marketers in the world.
    You could be a direct mail specialist, and fight only the direct mail specialists, a smaller bunch.
    You could be a direct mail marketer who specializes in getting Swiss watchmakers clients. Now, the field of competitors is much smaller.
    You could be a direct mail marketer who specializes in getting clients for Swiss watchmakers who sell watches for $15000 or more.

    Or you could sell a weight loss program.
    Or a weight loss program for men.
    Or a weight loss program for men over 50.
    Or a weight loss program for men over 50 who have knee problems.
    Or a weight loss program for men over 50 who have knee problems and ulcers.

    Your job is to find the place to do battle. Just keep in mind it's much easier to become king of a small hill than king of a mountain.

    Rely on what always have worked: email marketing.

    And no, the whole "make money with passion" is a misunderstanding: it's ok if it' your passion, but the first thing in mind that you have to think about is if there's a market.

    So it seems you have enough money to start with, if you have it every month: choose a sub niche, like weight loss for office, or a sub niche in internet marketing, go and find infos, test them, and rely on the stuff the affiliate page makes you avaible AND...

    ...Use SOLO ADS. I think that in your situtation it's the best choice possible: there are place like clickonomy, warrior forum classified ads, where you can easily find good sellers.

    You have to build an opt in page, a funnel, and products which have shown during a long time to work, and endorse them. Also in the funnel you have to give valuable infos (nurturing leads).

    If you want to start and have content made, the best choice is the Anik Singal program or if you want to take care of the traffic only, the best choice is patric chan.

    You can all find them in my funnell too.

    You need to get organized. Understand that marketing is marketing is marketing. Get your business organization straight first before you go out there and try to bring in leads and customers to a half-a** business structure. If you're willing to take some time to make sure that everything is set up correctly before you start marketing and advertising, then more than likely your patience will lead to lots of sales for you in the future.

    I think what you need is a step by step list on what you must do,

    In order to accomplished that list, you had $2K/month you could outsource it in the right place like : Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.

    If you have budget, you don't have to do it alone , try accelerate your business with your current budget.

    Best,

    If you want something you can start nearly right away you could consider a white-label product/service.

    Some white-label products I've considered myself, but not yet had the time to follow up on are;

    * cloudmarket.com - cloud services
    * seoreseller.com - seo services
    * retortal.com - social media management software
    * 99dollarsocial.com - social media management service
    * whitelabelseo.com - another seo service
    * clicksend.com - email and sms marketing service

    6 months for $2k a month, lol, this is almost as good as the 100k in a short time thread.

    In all honesty it will take you years not months, and if anyone here knew how to quickly and easily do it, then they would be tight lipped about it.

    No one is going to hand of the goose that lays the golden egg, for one golden egg. Especially when everyone else will be using the goose, til it keels over from exhaustion.

    But to get back to your original question, l would start with hub sites, Fiverr, Graphicriver, etc, as they have their own traffic, and yes they are pretty saturated, but....

    I am making some decent money from flyers, probably mainly because l can do high end, quickly, And yes it is pretty saturated, but it still works, if you can do them fast enough.

    Probably the reason you cannot start is none of your options really works at face value. Pretty much everything online is like that, that is why most people get up and go to work everyday, and give up early.

    There are opportunities still out there, but it takes time to dig to find the gold.

    Some veins thin out, and some just seem to get bigger the more you try, but yeah time and effort.

    Hub sites will give you the plot of land and the claim sign, but it is up to you if you can extract it fast enough to make it pay.

    Truer words spoken.

    I have been online for 9 years and counting and have a few projects on the go, one or two of them are promising.

    But am l going to tell everyone of course not.

    Just like you, l am also working in areas that most get no where with, (or are still ground floor) but like you l like that natural barrier, as it isn't thrashed, or unusable, since when something that is easy and makes money shows up, then legislation or others destroy it eventually.

    Adwords being a good example, it used to be 5 cents a click and now $5 onwards, (some can still make it work, but it is a lot harder for someone new).
