WSO : honesty and the way ahead in 2018

For years, buying a WSO has been an exciting experience.

Many sellers offer epic products and in many cases you can get a bargain at the Warrior Forum

But also in many situations, the Warrior Forum becomes a great way for sellers to make a small fortune by bending the rules....
And bending the rules means that they try to "over promote" their products .... to a point that "dodgy strategies" are applied.

We have seen it all.

We have read/consumed every WSO and we have see every strategy under the planet....trying to "push the rules" ...

In 2018... I want sellers to be aware that the honesty and integrity in the Market Place it's my main priority.

My priority: As the head of Warrior Forum.

Yes, this is a personal post.
So if you want to complain, point the finger or make someone accountable I'm the right person.
I'm always available to discuss, to chat, to jump on a call.

In 2018 , I will take a very strong position towards actions that may affect the buyer-seller experience at the market place

- Amazing review from brand new users (surprise surprise) that claimed they "just purchased"
- Many "reviews" or "positive" comments from users using the same IP (surprise surprise)
- 100% money back guarantee claims that are not really viable to enforce
- Sellers not providing support to buyers
- Unusual amount of complains towards one seller
- Low quality products with over 5000 Extra bonus (all those bonus from weird or obscure PLR origin)
- Obscure sellers: We can't track them, we can't find them online, unusual IP login behaviour.

To be honest, regulating a market place like this one it's not easy.... and I truly believe the only way to start this process it's to be accountable of our goals.

So that's why I'm writing this post.

My priority is to help the good sellers grow by rewarding them with more exposure (more about in future announcements) and by weeding the low offers that affect the overall view of the marketplace....

And by protecting the sellers and give them the sense of security that their experience here, it's actually our main priority.

***** I'm publishing the new rules of the Market Place this week, easier to understand, less things to read and a more streamline process ****

Have an awesome 2018 everyone

I personally disagree with this. It needs to meet the needs of both buyers and sellers.

Sellers need to be honest in sales copy and in intention, provide valuable products that really work, honor any promised guarantees, provide updates for things like software that is susceptible to security threats, etc.

Buyers need to get real about business and life. Part of me thinks that people asking things like "do I need a website", "how much can I make by tomorrow afternoon", etc. shouldn't be allowed to buy because they will fail in almost every case. Of course, sometimes they ask stupid questions like this because of stupid claims in sales copy which the forum could control.

These types of buyers will not succeed with the WSO they are asking about just like they have not succeeded with the hard drive full of WSOs they haven't opened (but in some cases gotten refunds for).

But they are the ones that will talk down the forum, call people out as scammers, talk about rehashed crap (if it was rehashed then the buyer must have already known the principles and used them to succeed, right?), etc.

Without buyers, there will be no sellers. Without sellers, there will be no forum (since listing fees are one of the things funding this place.).

I think Gabriel has some good ideas and wants to turn things around for the better. But I know it's not going to be easy.

I personally think you should stop the ability of sellers giving free copies in exchange for reviews.

I think it's good to give out reviews but the reviews left to me are not reviews as a lot say yeah this is doable, can see this working etc. etc.
To me a valid review is one where the reviewer has actually used info and actually had results or actually attempted it.Therefore you can review WSO in 5-10 minutes some should takes weeks.
    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Fake Reviews Solution

First, detect common review words in post, if a review is detected, launch review analyzing code which:

-crosschecks that the person is actually a buyer, if not buyer, deny or delete post
-check posting histories of buyer and seller, are they on the same threads a lot?, that's a flag
-check private message activity between buyer and seller, lots of messages heading up to wso launch? that's a flag
    etc...

You know what, you kind of answered your own issue, all of this can be automated with good programming.

There needs to be a lot more data analysis going on with all the activity here. There's so much potential for automation that can take all the work out of the moderator's hands. Look at facebook, Do what they do, just, you know, on a much, much, smaller scale, obv. Not sure what your programming budget is though...

stuff like a.i. and machine learning can really improve all of this
it's not overkill... you guys still get a ton of traffic

The fundamental lesson to be learned here is that there need to be constant regulations in order to push the boundaries of sellers in order to get creative and improve the quality of their content. I personally believe that if these restrictions are put in place then sellers will be inclined to work harder or smarter. Expecting to see more changes in the future.

Completely agree with Gabriel: cleaning up this forum, removing dodgy rehashes and unworkable snake-oil products will only enhance its reputation.

Gabriel: the sad reality is that there are a lot of dodgy and scam sellers in here.

you must cater to buyers only. not sellers. because us buyers are helpless.

you should treat each and every seller as a potential scammer.

from my experience a lot of sellers just want to sell and make profit. they dont care about the buyers.

just look at JVZOO and Warriorplus. its a mess. everyday there are multiple software or methods coming out. its a joke.

The problem is generalizing businesses in general.
you can say the same thing about Facebook with Fake news
      Google vs blackhat
      Instagram with fake celebrities
      etc

So no, is not a "joke"
they are companies with staff and teams trying to improve.
Let's don't generalize everyone and everything .... that is where the problem starts.

Buyers are not helpless.... nobody is forcing you to buy.....
but I agree that it's our job to provide better support and a better marketplace and that's why I posted the message.

      Thx mate

      John,

I'm going to call a spade a spade.

YOU, sir, are the type of person that allows the scammers to operate. You have almost 400 posts in the WSO section over the last couple years.

Almost every one, is along the lines of "how little do I have to do to earn a bunch of money as fast as possible?"

In June of 2016, you wrote
Actually I am very tired of fighting to get ahead.

I am tired of trying to learn IM.

All I want is to find a Software solution for my traffic and advertising needs.

I cant do any of these time consuming tasks manually myself such as advertising, getting traffic, etc...

simply because I don't have much free time and its just too much hassle.

So if anyone who knows about an inexpensive Software that can bring in free traffic please let me know.

I would be very happy to buy this automated software that can bring in free traffic. otherwise there is no hope for me.
Some of us tried to help you see the right path but then you started attacking us calling us selfish because we weren't sharing the secrets.

John, you are as much a scammer as anyone else. Why? Because you buy stuff, you ask questions, then you don't use it. You don't do it consistently over time. You don't try. You have shiny object syndrome bad.

And then, despite your personal failings, you have the audacity to come here and claim that every seller should be treated like scammers.

You and people like you are as much the problem as any true scammer.

Why don't you find something out of the hundreds of offers you've searched into and just do it? Just stop asking about more or looking at more and just do it?

Even if you bought a scam WSO, I'd say the failure is as much on YOU as on the WSO!! Why?

      You
      Would
      Not
      Even
      Do
      The
      Scam
      WSO
      Before
      You
      Were
      Looking
      For
      Another
      One!!!!!!!!!

John, most of us can relate. Most of us go through shiny object syndrome. Most of us have to control our email, our credit cards, etc. so we can focus on the job at hand. Lord knows I still get distracted even years after starting.

But, if you or any of us is ever going to do anything or make any money or turn things around, that shiny object syndrome has to be treated and rooted out as much as possible.

Decisions need to be made and then we need to stick to the decisions.

John, I hope you find your answer. But, I doubt you will until you get a hold of the problem and in your case, it's not the vendors.

      Good luck.

      Mark

Awesome post mate! i look forward to the marketplace being cleaned up a bit, and maybe even the rules&process when launching wso's as its a bit all over the place at times also i think weeding out the LQ sellers from the rest will make the launching of wso's much more simple and straighforward and it will also insure customers are happy with their purchase instead of feeling disappointed and like they got ripped-off(sadly this is all to common on here ). I'm excited to seeing what 2018 has it store for this incredible forum and its members. Cheers!

Great enforcement Gabriel. This way the WSO section will have lots of quality sellers instead of the ones who make WSO's back to back to back - and who careless about the person buying the WSO.

Best way to look at it is that this is a private forum and they make the rules so either stick to them as discussed or do not upload a WSO , very simple
