What the most common content creation problems online marketers face are and how to solve them

Has it ever happened to you that you sit in front of your word processor looking at an empty white screen with a blinking cursor?

It happens to all of us.

Would you like to know how to start and get the content that needs to get written [or recorded for that matter - if you're doing video] done?

These are the tips that have worked for me.

1. Have a brief general idea of what you're going to create content about

I used to think that think specific would be the answer.

However, I've found this not to be the case.

Before I sat down to write this, I knew that I wanted to write a piece about 'creating content' and that the target audience was 'online marketers'.

2. Think of the headline

I then thought about what the headline should be.

A headline that solves a problem that your audience has, will always get read.

How do you identify what problems your audience has?

Most of the time it's about two things:
  • You're part of the audience
  • You've asked the audience what their problems are

In this case, I'm part of group A.

This means that I've been in the situation before and have 'found the end of the tunnel' - so to speak.

As a result of being a part of group A, I'm personally interested in a solution.

However, if I wasn't, I'd need to 'ask'.

This could mean doing research about problems or even just asking.

When you know what problems your target audience has, it's easy to create content.

This is simply because you're writing with the aim of solving these problems.

As a result, you're also going to know that the content you create, will be read and be useful for the people reading it.

That's it.

Find what problems your target audience has and tackle them by providing solutions.

Valuable content is created.

To be simple, you can go to EzineArticles and purchase their article templates. They are fill in the blank style, and they're templates are very good. It doesn't matter what kind of article you want to create, they have a template for it.

You should also research demand and keyword trends to make sure you don't waste your time

My clients used to publish tons of content NOBODY reads.

    I fixed that.

    You should too.

There are all sorts of free online tools that will help you make this happen.

Remember: BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME is a one way ticket to bankruptcy

Have you ever considered going to YouTube and doing a search on your niche keywords. By looking for the videos with the most reviews and re-purpose the content. I would start with that strategy.

Those are some great tips. Having a good influencer marketing campaign can be challenging as well.
