Hi warriors!

My subcribers wanted me to open a coaching. I've never did this before

I just know that coaching is i will teach them

But i'm not sure about what's a coaching exactly?

Is that using teamview? Online webcam?

We intended if i do, it's gonna be online.

Thank you!

  • Teaching is a component of teaching but that's not all.

Coaching is also about guiding your students/clients through their challenges and encouraging them to achieve their goals. You can either meet with your clients by appointment or you can be on call when they need you.

When you include coaching as a business, you can offer a number of sessions per for a certain amount and upsell for more exclusive or on call access.

And yes, you can definitely do this online.

Hold a poll among your subscribers to determine the TOPICS they need help with the most

You can then shoot a set of videos teaching them about their preferred topics

You can charge access to the videos

It's hard to say. What niche is this in? Are they looking for you to do this for free or get paid?

Just create a sales page describing your coaching services. Obviously what you're selling is what they want to learn also. Which also means they think highly of you. Make the process simple. Tell them what you can do for them in terms of services, create a sign up form for inquiries, then whoever fills out the form, call them/skype, go over what you will be doing for them.... then send them an invoice. Price can vary, but make sure it's relatively high.

From reading your question, IMO, you're not ready to coach someone. There are soooo many ways coaching can be done. You need to research those a lot more and make sure you can get people results, then come up with a plan to deliver your coaching based on what's best for you.

This is how it usually works:

The client asks the questions because he doesn't know the answers.

The coach answers the clients questions because he has the answers.

Submit a survey to your email list

THEN start a membership site for coaching and respond to answers, make videos to respond to the commonly one, or a private skype call if someone wants to pay you more for more specific infos.

Sorry to correct you, Steve, but in this niche it usually works more like this:

The client asks the questions because he doesn't know the answers.

The coach posts the questions on the WF because he doesn't know the answers, but sold them anyway.

Or, more likely, the wannabe coach "invents" the client(s) so as not to appear as a newbie himself.

As a coach, I have to jump in here.

Coaching is NOT teaching - let's get clear about that. (Although it may sometimes include some teaching elements).

Teaching is imparting information to another in such a way that they are able to learn it - i.e. remember and hopefully apply it. Think back to school or college for examples of teachers.

Coaching is enabling someone to find and discover their own inner resources, answers, strengths and abilities. Coaches encourage and support and guide. Teachers may well do that too, but fundamentally the goal of teaching is different to coaching.

The confusion arises because the student's question is often the same in both cases - i.e. "How do you do X?"

If it's, "How do you build a chicken coop?" or "How do you play 3 Steps To Heaven on a guitar?" then a teacher is fine. Step by step, chord by chord ... there's a method that can be learned and copied and therefore taught.

But the question has a different meaning for coaches.

When I was first asked how I was making money from my websites, my brain went into a spin because - step by step - I didn't know! It had kind of happened organically and then I had to "reverse engineer" what I'd done to see if I could teach it.

I tried - and most of my early students got nowhere.

Because step by step wasn't the answer.

The true answer was more to do with, "I let my ideas flow. I trusted my instincts. I dared to ask for help from strangers ..."

    And there's NO clear pathway.

So now, when someone asks me how I make money online, if they want my coaching I free them to become more of themselves. I show them where their personal power lies. I enable change, but I never try to create a clone or cookie-cutter version of what I've done.

Because ultimately, that would just be TEACHING them to try to be me!

And neither of us would want that!

    Hope that helps.

Coaching for MMO? That's a general topic. Be specific and you will know what you want to coach them.
Let's say you will coach about getting traffic with fb, getting email subscribers, the more specific you are the better it will get. And at the end of the coaching, offer another session for a different topic.
