How do I get money back from webinar scammers?

Hi - I joined a webinar monday run by "name deleted by mod" for Google shopping - it seemed really good. I paid $860 to join the training. I did not get any acknowledgment emails and the money has gone from my bank. I have emailed them through support tickets and called them but all phone lines are dead. There were 1000 on the call. What can I do - they just are not contactable. I paid with my credit card.

    This is between you and the seller - assume you know to check spam filters, etc - two days after payment and no response?

    You paid with credit card - you can file a chargeback - though I would make every effort to reach a customer service desk before I took that step.

    Absolutely the easiest way is to contact your credit card company and tell them you got scammed by a fraudulent company.

    You will have no problem getting your money back.

    Most people don't realize how easy it is to get fraudulent charges reversed when you pay with a credit card.

    The key is to pay with a credit card, not a debit card.

    Your credit card company will of course asked you what happened and you simply tell them.

    You've already done everything you can do and have gotten no response in trying to contact the scammers..

    that is why I make these purchases with AMEX. dispute right away if no support. almost got taken by a real estate guru; paid then no support; calling to get transferred around the office. crazy, just dispute.
