No Funnels, will just Front End sell?

Hi,
I have made my product ready to release on affiliate networks.

The question I have is, should I have a sales funnel? can I release just the FE product without a funnel?

The problem is, I have no idea what can I add to the product that could be related, to make a funnel for it.

The product is a Wordpress plugin. I really don't have anything to attach to it as an upsell. (or I think it doesn't need any extra products).

If I should have a funnel, can I use products I have permission to sell, to create upsells? ( PLR, MRR, RR - from PLR sites), or that doesn't work?

Any experience/advice guys?

Thanks,
Mehdi

Yes you can make FE sales only.

It's not smart, because you've already identified a BUYER who is in a definite target market.

If they buy one plugin, they're likely to buy more plugins. You could be an affiliate for those other products.

Let me ask you to think about this: What does buying a Wordpress plugin tell you about that person...and what else they might need?

It's your business, run it however you like.

I've done really well for years without any upsells - but when I started I found that around 30% of people DO buy them.

The front end offer is just one in a series of purchases your customer is going to make, either with you or with someone else, right?

So figure out what else they need besides your front end offer, and put that in front of them.

At the very least you can pitch an affiliate offer to them.

Of course you can. : )

If you generate enough traffic, you can make a small fortune just selling one eBook (etc.) That's not to say you shouldn't consider a sales funell (at the moment) ... Just that you don't necesarily need one to get started.

Collect their eMail addresses and add them to your Autoresponder/eMail List.

Because 1. You will be creating a Buyer's list for the future. And 2. Consider asking/surveying them about their problems/concerns/etc. ... With a view for providing them with more information/products.

You could always do FE only, although you lose a good chance there of catching some up- as well as downsells. Definitely people will make buying decisions based on different offers and pricing, so giving at least 1 downsell and 1 upsell I'd always recommend.

I found a couple of things that really worth to release as upsells, fresh and related to FE, so I will work on them.

In my opinon, you needn't have a sales funnel. You just need to do your business in your way. In addition, you can give customers some bonuses if you have.

I don't know your list, but I would say as an upsell, how about something related to advanced training on Wordpress. Many people know only how to do the basics, but what about "Wordpress hacks to get xxx results"

BTW, as others have said, yes you can sell only a FE product but 2 disadvantages I see.

#1, You're leaving money on the table because some people will by OTO's
#2 If you have only a low priced FE, many affiliates might not promote or be attracted to your offer. Lucrative OTO's attract more affiliates.
#3 If you're offering affiliates 100% of the front end, you will make 0 money. Maybe it's OK with you to use the launch to just build your list, but maybe not. OTO's split 50/50 at least makes you some money.

    You ALWAYS need sales funnel.

think of it: the most of the sales are in the back end, not in the front end at all. would u miss them?

yes u can use products, it's YOUR LIST.
