Here's my situation, what do you recommend I do?

I use to dabble in IM 6+ years ago. I was making a few hundred a month from Amazon reviews sites and one blog with AdWords. Well I started an offline business that I still have today and luckily it became pretty successful.

My business now is event/festival planning. With this I have a lot of down time and really want to get back into IM. I know how to create WordPress sites, I have a graphics designer on staff for my event business also.

So here is my question. If I wanted to invest a couple grand back into IM and start getting back to it, what's the best path to go down in 2018? I'll note I also enjoy writing as I run regular blogs on our event social media pages now.

Thanks for any input.

    Hello,

Well it sounds like you know what is up, so this is a tough question, since you have experience.

My thoughts are, in im marketing, do one thing that your good at, you have to master one thing, and then put all your time in one thing, if your good at amazon, I would build many sites, they add up, the money.

I myself make money doing custom blogs, etc, and much more, but my real money maker is only one niche that I am in,and I put lots of time into that one niche, if I jump around to all my other sites, all the time, then my main niche will not make as much, so I tend to stick to one niche,

But also my web design business, keeps me busy, but I don't considered it im marketing,

Ok my thoughts, hope it helps

    Thanks Rob.

The same path which works from ages.

    Email Marketing.

Choose a niche, a product (test it) which satisfy a need, build a list, give valuable content and sell the product.

Well since you're offline business is doing well, why not invest in something online that is fun and easy to maintain. It'll supplement your offline business income without doing much. In short, find something that can run on autopilot, with no more than 1 hour per day marketing it. Examples are ebook selling & affiliate marketing.
