Amazon Associate Links & other countries

Amazon Associates- If I am a UK Amazon Associate and someone from Japan sees my site and clicks on link, do I get the referral for that if i'm not in the Japan Associates programme?

If the answer is no, meaning I have to sign up for Japan Associates, how does that work with my original link? Would I now have to put a Japan associate link on too?

My understanding is that you would have to sign up for the Japanese associate programme and if you are already a U.K. associate as you will now be both your affiliate link should be valid for commissions from both countries.

    Hope this helps.

No. You won't get referral commission. You have to sign up to associate program for Japan. Amazon OneLink is really a good option to grab commission worldwide. Just sign up there and then copy the link. Login to your first signed up associate account then go to OneLink.just verify the link with the specific mentioned country tracking ID box.
You can check out the resources page which can found on associate Navigation Menu. Don't worry, It is very easy to do.

I believe you have to be in the Japan Associates program to get the referral. And I agree with the Amazon Onelink suggestion. With it, you don't have to download third-party plugins like Geniuslink anymore.

you might want to look into the easyazon plugin. (just google it) with that plugin it is easy to get sales from international traffic.

You will have to apply to all the countries you want to market to but since you already have your amazon account it should be easy. If you have questions on how to do it just contact amazon or use the amazon associates forum which you can access from your dashboard
