So I was thinking to start a watches amazon review website...
I know, I guess watches niche is extremely hard on US. But seems doable in my native country.
I found 50 keywords watches related, for a potential of 277409 monthly searches. Of course I don't think I will be able to rank on all of these or reach this number but I will try. Except for brand related keywords (for example Rolex Watches) all the others doesn't seems to have big brands on top 3.
I mean there is a store in position 2 of a 50000 monthly searches keyword that has 700 backlinks on Majestic. I told myself "Crap, I can't overrank this". Took a better look and there was 22 pages of The Global backlinks. Only a couple of pages were actually true backlinks and this is doable.
Anyway, my target is to earn 1000$/month with affiliate. And my question is: Is it possible? I mean, amazon give me 10% on selling watches. But why? I would like to know all the issue I'm going to face before to start this journey. Are watches hard to sell? Do they get tons of chargeback? Do you suggest me to go with this project? Can I reach my target?
