Quick question for an affiliate-youtube and keyword links in emails

Hi all,

Again, so appreciative for the help I have received so far on here when posting questions.

Here I am with my 4th post.

Two questions please:

If posting a video review on youtube with the aim to be to re direct someone to a product to buy, do you have to put an affiliate disclaimer in your youtube description, as you do in a website and blog?

Also, feel rather daft asking this one, but when you are doing email marketing and amongst your article you have the links people can click on, to take them to a product etc, how do you actually put those in the writing? it's probably obvious but I am stuck on that bit. I don't mean a standard website link, as understand that bit, but say the keywords, that sometimes you see highlighted?

Thank you

Hope everyone is enjoying the snow, if somewhere with snow.

Mia.

I'm assuming you're trying to create an HTML email, instead of regular plain text email.

The easiest way to disguise your affiliate link behind a keyword is to use a simple tool, or just learn the basic structure of how to create a "worded link". Here's a great tool to do it from:

    https://www.myspacegens.com/handler.php?gen=link

Here's the basic structure to do it in general:

    <a href="http://" style="font-size: 11px;" target="_self">KEYWORD</a>
