Marketplace for websites ?

Hello warriors,

So I have been out of buying / selling sites business for a while. I used to be a seller on Flippa for a long time, came up with few great sites to list but when I tried to list on Flippa I realized they again raised their rates to a new height $29 / site + 15% commission on all type of sites, sounded outrages to me.

I know warrior forum is a good place to sell, but I am trying to continue with the bidding option, a side from forms, is there a real replacement platform out there for Flippa that can be used and has good amount of buyers ?

    Really Great Question,

I was looking for the same thing the other day because I have 7 domains I'd like to sell what I found out was all the websites like Flippa are charging a lot to sell domains

I found 2 websites that seem to be much more actively promoting domains than Flippa is, the websites are:

    www.selldomains.co

    and

    sedo.com

If you find something that works well, please let me know

I have noticed the same lately. They just want to make more money I guess. The prior numbers was not enough, maybe. (greediness, right).

You can also try the GoDaddy Auction Marketplace; auctions.godaddy.com

Flippa is indeed getting greedy, I am shocked they seems to be doing solid. Listing start at $30 + 15% of success fee. It is manner of time before they take the sites for free

Empire flippers if your site has great traffic and earns good.

My advice to you is bundle your offer on flippa with lots of goodies like free transfer, PLR articles, some videos, landing pages etc. You will have a higher chance of a sale plus more people might be interested in buying ur site which will increase the bidding and overall sale amount.

    Good luck.

We have a service for buying and selling websites but they need to be websites that actually produce income. We don't waste people's time selling domain names or sites that were built but have never sold anything. You can find that service in the footer of our site.

HarrieB & Noorani thanks for the suggestion, I came cross these sites

Sedo has a great amount of traffic but i still believe they are just domains marketplace. I am looking for place to flip sites that we create

Empire Flipper seemed promising ( I saw it couple of days ago ) but I got the impression it is not replacing flippa, instead target websites with income, well established, as well as FBA accounts

Dave, thanks that is another issue. I saw a lot of places to sell sites with established income, I am looking for where can i sell sites with none, so for example I created a good website ( not another script ) and then things changed and I can't maintain it, going to any of these services the website will be undervalued.

I know eBay is a good option but considering how long a site take to sell on eBay, i may as well clear my watch

Plenty of alternatives out there. I have personally tried few of them so here goes the list and my comments -
    1. FE International (mostly for US-based sites; if you are from some other location, low chances of success)
    2. BuySellEmpire (haven't tried yet but is growing)
    3. WebsiteClosers (no idea how it fares but was ranked #7 on a list of top marketplaces)
    4. EmpireFlippers (smart but has a lot of spam sites)
    5. FreeMarket (haven't tried)

There are many more that you can find with a quick search, but these five are the ones I have head about. I'd suggest you to check them out and see what examples they show on their websites and then take the plunge. Good luck!
