Unable to login to Wordpress

    Have you...sent yourself the lost password request? It's on the wp-login.php page under the user name & password fields.



    Is it a site you have worked on before, or a brand new one?

    If it's new, consider deleting and making a new installation.

    If it's an old one and the pw reset isn't working...oh boy, this is gonna sound complicated...go into the phpmyadmin in your cpanel, get into the users, and change the password in there for your user name. That's the easiest fix I can think of.

    I think the reason I have a problem, had a person build the site, did a bad job, I cancel order & I think he is stopping me from getting in.

      If he still has Admin access he can do that very easy and deny you. Their is no way to get back in. If you have the site pointed at by your domain. Change it and the site will come down and the personwho built it is sol.
