1m visits for $5 - too good to be true? :)

in my experience you probably will not get real visitors for that amount of money - it will more than likely be "bot" driven traffic, so you won't get any bids on the items you are offering.


In my opinion it will not do any harm to your Ebay listings.


I would not use it for your ecommerce sites as it may not be good for them.


Its tempting to use a quick service like the one you have mentioned but long term strategies for your ecommerce sites are the best solution, where you will see good results after a few months, with real visitors and a valuable website.


Things like:


Joining LinkedIn


Creating a Facebook Group for your site


Creating articles for your site and sharing them with social media


Giving free reports and ebooks away with links back to your site.


Paid advertising can work well but I would not use the ones you have mentioned

PURCHASING TRAFFIC FROM FIVERR IS NOT A MARKETING METHOD.

You want traffic? Earn it like the rest of us.

Quit being lazy and start doing real work, not just looking for a quick solution.

Much more than likely you won't receive any traffic -- let alone 1M visits. (And like Ged3 said... It would probably be "junk" traffic.)

Sometimes you have to put the work in rather than looking for an "easy"/quick way to drive traffic/be successful.

I think we have probably all been there and purchased some inexpensive traffic ourselves just to see what it would be like - but unfortunately traffic that is that inexpensive has always been disappointing in my experience.

Learn to develop a traffic strategy that can bring in results for yourself, so your NOT relying on others.

Probably not. No one but you and the seller (maybe scammer?) will know.

You will most likely lose $5 if you do this . . . but you know what? . . . I say you ought to go ahead and test it. Spend $5. Why?

So that your experience with Fiverr and other similar services becomes personal. Test everything you do in IM.

When you fail at IM, it often adds to your knowledge and experience if you learn from it. Losing $5 should not break your bank. And if that's all you lose on your first marketing campaign in order to learn the lesson, consider yourself extremely lucky and smart! Then don't do it again.

Don't lol. I did this early on and got 300 clicks a day but no buys. Fiverr + traffic= worthless bot traffic.

Don't waste your money.

Tried something like that once for $10 or so. Total waste.

eBay: is thick and dumb and stoopid. It's built on ancient technology used by the Aztecs.
Forget 1m visitors (I only put that to make a good title)...
If I got 10,000 views on a listing, the dumb eBay system 'could' give a ranking boost in where the listing shows up.

10,000 views + 0 purchases - maybe it still sits on page 10.
10,000 views + 2 purchases - aha! maybe that takes you straight to position 1!
(i have just made that up - i have no idea if that actually works)

eBay is not based on logic and fairness.

Chances are that this is too good to be true.

I wouldn't really trust any traffic from Fiverr.

But, since it is only $5, you should go ahead and give it a try.

Sounds too good to be true. Probably bot traffic. I'd stay away.

I highly doubt you will do unrepairable damage, but it does seem a bit too good to be true. There are some types of traffic you can buy that are worth it, but you really need to know more about the traffic than just how many hits you're promised.

If the traffic is coming from social sources or from trusted sources, it could be worth it. Plus, if you only pay $5 for it, you only need one customer to make it worth it, most likely.

Yes, everyone here is right about bot traffic. Fiverr is not a good place to buy good traffic. It is, however, a good place for graphic-related work but not with SEO and backlinks. You may as well buy traffic from FB ads or Google.

Instead of spending $5 on Fiverr, invest it on Reditt advertising. You would get 50-100 genuine leads.

It wont yield any stats for you. Fiverr and the Fiverr seller though will profit from it. Ebay is an easy place to make money at. Why send a spike of $5 traffic to your ebay listing when ebay already has the millions of returning customers that you are looking for? The trick is to use Ebay in tandom with your IM/MMO website. Figure it out. Fiverr is great, but bot traffic is not.

Those views are all fake Bots. Using Fiverr for Traffic and SEO is a complete waste of cash.

When using fiverr be sure to read ALL of the reviews going back for months, typically that will show some folks showing honest detailed feedback and you can challenge the seller to see how he/she answers...

For design, fiverr's fine.

For data entry, simple stuff? Also fine.

Content? Maybe.

But for marketing, it's usually horrible. Way too many services offered by beginners to even noobier beginners

I don't expect to get the best quality traffic for extremely cheap. But, if the offer you saw has many good reviews, then it may require testing to judge. Nonetheless, if you are willing to spend to gain traffic, perhaps one of your best option is to learn how to drive traffic from a specific paid traffic source. You may then ave more control over the cost.

It sure won't be real traffic, and it will slow down your site the more fake visits you send. Slower loading site = lower ranking site. Just saying.

I have used the bot traffic from fiverr for other project knowing it would not generate real visitors and the stats were not good.

Why exactly do you want to generate traffic for an ebay listing, do you think this will give you a better search ranking ?

There is no guarantee our best sources will work for you.

You need to do your own testing.

Well, how to put it. I'll just state the obvious. If you buy 1m visits for $5 you aren't going to get a single real living human person visit your site from these 1m visits.

There's no point in buying traffic if it's not going to convert. Social media is good for free traffic by making a page on Facebook and promoting your products or get people talking about your business. Plus you can also pay for Facebook ads which could could add up but if you use it properly then I'm sure you will do well
