STOP Consuming and START Creating! How to get out from information OVERLOAD

AS an affiliate and imers you are exposed with TONS of informations, coming by several gurus, teachers, etc.

So, expecially at the beginning, you jump here and there, dabbing like a monkey and waste most of your time.
Here are some principles to understand and overcome this situation:

FIRST. Analyze what Guru does: is he trying to sell you the next course on facebook ads while they advertise it to HIS Email List at you? So you better build your email list.

SECOND. Buy ONLY things (courses, etc), which are you 100% SURE to apply in the next 72 hours.
It's well demonstrated that if you don't apply something in the next 72 hours you get it, you will never do it.

THIRD. STICK TO THE PLAN! Buy something which fit or benefit what you have chosen to do as a business. As an example: if you are building your list and try to make money sending emails, it's pretty useless you buy the next instagram course to gain more followers.

So you have only to know what's rely on your EXISTING BUSINESS and what you can start IMPLEMENT IN 72 HOURS.

FOURTH: Eat the Elephant! I mean how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
So it's for your business: don't try to reinvent the wheel or do it in a day. Start with steps, you will do it completely but step by step. what is important is EXECUTION.

FIFTH: EXECUTION. Start implementing, even small things, step by step, but DO IT. Now.
Money is attracted to speed, says Dan Kennedy, so act now, fail, re-act, fail again, and then rinsing and repeat...you will succeed.
Just take the failures as data: they are only data, signals there's something to change.

Hope this helps. And Remember: the only business which wouldnt let your pants off, is Email Marketing!

    YESS!!

    This is great advice!

I was a big consumer when I first started my online journey to making money.

I didn't get any results and didn't make a penny online until I started implementing all of the knowledge that I took month after month learning without much action.

    Also, consistency is key here!

    Thank you for sharing this!

Excellent advice. When you're new to internet marketing or making money online of any type, it's easy to become a program hopper. I remember when I was very new and I did this. I probably spend $1,000 in six months and had all kinds of programs without a single implemented strategy making me any kind of cash.

My advice to all newbies, unsubscribe from all email lists that are promoting to you and not providing tips or good content for you to learn from. Choose one program to work and work it until you squeeze some cash out of that turnip.

It's so easy to get distracted and end up broke or spending your last $40 on another program hoping for a miracle. Even God won't do the work for you. If you want a miracle, you have to be willing to put in the time and effort.

Just two cents from someone that's been there before.

The shiny object syndrome is very powerful when you're first starting out. I personally spent thousands on courses, programs, and seminars myself. It can be a good education, but also its very difficult to see how all the pieces fit together when you're jumping from courses to course. To piggyback off of the OP, I'd say pick one traffic generation technique ( i.e. SEO, PPC, Facebook, Youtube, etc.. ) and one revenue generation technique ( Affiliate Marketing, CPA, Your Own Products, Adsense, Kindle, Dropshipping, etc ) and stick with it until you're making money.

I like the fact you mentioned "how do you eat a elephant?" You eat one bite at a time. Small steps add up over time.

Good advice to get people moving and avoid distractions.

With the 72 hour advice I'd flip that and say:
"If you want to buy a product WAIT 72 hours, then see if you still want to buy it"

During that time, continue what you are doing and consider where this new thing fits into your strategy.

  • EAT THE ELEPHANT!!

This is something I wish I knew when I was just starting out. When I started learning about internet marketing I was really overwhelmed. And I did quit a few times. I wish I just focused on what I can do instead of worrying about what I wasn't able to do.
