If you are OK with using wordpress then S2Member is a membership plugin with considering.

They have a free version and you can always upgrade to the paid version if you like what you see.

There are many favourites and you will receive suggestions from many people depending on their personal experience.

It will come down to costs and the functionalities you require.

The thing about S2member is it is a good starting point and if you already have technical skills you can make it work in multiple ways.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

I've successfully used memberpress in the past on some client sites and it did everything I needed it to do.

I recommend Optimizepress. You get a theme, plugin and membership solution.

You can build a nice membership site with the WordPress Platform. There are many useful plugins like S2Members and PaidMembershipPro.

Or you can use a third party platform like Clickfunnels.com

Right now I actually have a membership site that I have built on WordPress and I'm using s2Member. I'm also using a plugin called Profit Builder (which I recommend).

If you have technical experience and know how to build a WordPress site then you can build your membership fast. It's not a big challenge!

There are a ton of options, but would say the best option depends on the specifics regarding what you want to do. Whatever you do, choose a platform that has a solid history of support with updates and patches. In the case of WordPress plugins, as suggested here, the same principle goes for the plugins. If the company has a support forum, go checkout the forum and see if people are complaining, and if support questions are answered quickly. After you find a few that look good to you, stack them up side by side to decide which is best for your particular application. Don't make your decision based on price. Pick the one that will do the best job for you.

If you would prefer a complete package rather than having to string everything together, there's a brand new service out that gives you every tool you need (membership, affiliate platform, shopping cart, auto-responder, page builder, opt-in, video hosting, analytics -- literally everything.

It's called Kartra which is from the same guys who created Webinar Jam (Andy Jenkins and Mike Filsame). It's in pre-launch and will open to the public mid-April. Not sure if you can still get in on the pre-launch or not.

But from what I've seen - this will make membership sites simple and it will integrate everything you need to promote and manage it.

I use New Kajabi. It's not the cheapest way to go to get started, but it has everything in one place so it may turn out to be less expensive than some other options and it's a platform that's always being updated. Support is amazing. There's a free trial. I use it for my courses as well as for a membership devoted site,

I would go with Joomla or Wordpress. I usually stick with S2 Member on Wordpress, but you can find similar options on Joomla or Drupal.
