Hi, I want to promote my sales funnel on youtube. What is an easy method to make a simple video without being on camera yourself?..........and before anyone says it, no I dont want to just point my cellphone at the computer

Create slides in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides, and record them with narration.

If you're on PC then Camtasia is the best screen recorder. It's also the most expensive and has lots of features you might not need.

If you'e on a Mac then Screenflow is the one to go for.

But if you're on a budget then Screen Cast-O-Matic is a decent alternative that doesn't cost much.

I'm sure there are free options around if you're willing to sacrifice quality.

Camtasia has a 30-day free trial.

Don't forget about the audio. Nothing worse than a video with poor audio.

Movavi.com is about 1/10 the cost of Camtasia. I've been using it for years.

  • Open Broadcaster is completely free and will let you record your screen in Windows at any resolution and frame rate you desire. I use it for my own tutorials.

    Hi Showe,

Vidyard is awesome - I love it - but I think it is only for Chromebooks.

Helpful, intuitive and easy as pie to use for screen captures aka recordings for video.

    Camstudio is free.

Kurt Melvin has a product called "powerpoint King Tuts" that teaches how to use powerpoint to create videos.
