If you are a digital product vendor... Clickbank Vs SoftwareProjects

Have a product we are doing okay with on our own.. but Facebook doesn't approve of our diet product..

Looking to move to ClickBank or Software Projects (or whatever else they are calling themselves these days)


Do you have a preference? We've been speaking with high level account managers of both but seems we can't decide where we want to list..


As a vendor... do you prefer ClickBank or Software projects?

    I haven't really personally used clickbank. But just in case you are looking for a vendor platform. You can try out warriorplus and launch a wso and even get traffic from warriorforum. Hope this helps!

    As a vendor... do you prefer ClickBank or Software projects?
    Does Software projects have a group of affiliates that will promote?

    They look like a shopping cart with the ability to manage your own affiliates rather than a network to expose you to affiliates like Clickbank will.

    I don't have any experience from a Software projects point of view but I do have products on Clickbank and I've always found their administration, payments etc to be really good.

    You will always generate more traffic yourself but if you have a proven sales page and can give affiliates the right support then Clickbank has a lot of people who can promote for you.

    They also have some good banner type ads you can buy to get in front of affiliates.

    Why are you considering another platform when you are doing well yourselves?

    Are you getting enquiries from affiliates wanting to promote?

    Can you incorporate an affiliate platform yourself into what you already have?

    If you want to streamline your admin and can justify the investment and the pros and cons with a service like CB then from the admin side and affiliate payments then it might make sense.

    If you already can handle the admin and just want to incorporate an affiliate program there will be other options to consider.

      Actually our current cart (ThriveCart) has a built in affiliate platform

      We were doing great on our own over the last year running our own fitness/diet offer.

      Problem is now that Facebook for some reason disabled all our ad accounts for the business/business manager and we're out of options.

      We were doing 2% to cold traffic on FB (targeting our lookalike audiences) for over 12 months now... kept trying to scale... keep getting another ad account disabled.

      Had our lawyer look over FB's TOS and our ads...and he said he could not find a single violation, yet FB (Even with 10 relevance score and high positive feedback on all our ads, with ZERO disapproved ads) -- kept disabling all our ad accounts.

      Would love to get with someone who can help us figure out how to get back in FB's good graces as our front end #'s were great.

      $40 CPA, $66 AOV to cold FB traffic on the front end.

      If we can't get back advertising on FB then we literally have no choice other than to put ourselves at the mercy of affiliates.

      For us Adwords, Natives, Solos, don't even get us to B/E..... FB converts at 2% which gives us those KPIs and ROI

        Did your lawyer look at the TOS specifically about diet and weight loss. They are quite specific about those ads. Without seeing your ads we have no way of helping you.

    I would go with Clickbank. It's either it will sell or not. They have experienced affiliates, and if you give your affiliates the marketing tools for them to easily get sales - you can have it made. Plus... Clickbank handles all of the affiliate payouts. So no check writing to affiliates, or Paypal mass payments if you dont want to.

    I agree with Randall.

    If your current Facebook method is not available then you have very little to lose.

    It would take about a days work to add your product to Clickbank I guess.
    If you don't have banner ads and email swipes etc. then you will need to get those created for the affiliates.
    And maybe some Clickbank ads to try and get some initial engagement of affiliates

    Clickbank have sold some extremely well performing diet products so there will be affiliates to do the job if you can get them engaged.

    Not sure why you seem to be saying either/or. Is anything stopping you adding the product to multiple platforms?
    What are the account managers saying that make you unable to decide? Can you leverage from the competition between them (if you currently have some good sales stats) to get additional help.

    I do use Clickbank and it works well for me. But to be honest my reasons are simply because they act as the vendor and that removes a huge amount of work off me.
