HELP!!! How do I overcome the SLUMP!!!!

Ok I need some help Warriors. I am a newbie to IM so I started an IM course a few months back. Things were going well and I was really pumped and could'nt wait to learn new things everyday. My normal full time job as a Youth Care Worker was getting busy and as my bills and debts started to mount as well , I found myself (and stiil do) working 70-80hrs a week on average and just did not find time to work on IM.

This has been going on now for the last month and even when I do find time in front of the computer, I find it hard to focus on my online business. I really want to learn IM and I still hope to make a living from IM. So my question is if anyone else has gone through this??
What has helped you to overcome it and to refocus again??
Any help would be appreciated..thanks.

I too have a hard time dedicating myself right now with "life" going on everywhere else in my life. It can be hard and frustrating knowing you could do so much if you only had the time.

For me? I have to make a list of things to get done. I am CONSTANTLY carrying and adding to 3x5 notecards in my pocket. I pick up a pack of these and go through them like crazy (plus, I'm a part-time magician and they definitely get their use as a magician/mind-reader's tool too )

I think what you have to do is first realize you have to be 'OK' with what you can get done, and what you can't. If you're like me, the stress of not being to 'let go' of certain projects, priorities can itself, be a block.

Once I've mentally resigned myself to "what is, just is" I find when I can do the business I need to work on, my time is much more productive because while I do continue to make notes to myelf throughout the day (handy pen and 3x5 index) I can let it go and stay focused on family, other work and so on.

You're certainly NOT alone, and you can do it, but you have to give yourself permission to let it go and do what you can instead of losing your mind.

Take a break for a day or two, and DON'T go crazy thinking about what work you're NOT doing and re-charge.

    Good luck -

The ones I look up to are those who have children, take care of them, and still get stuff done. How I don't really know because my little guy won't let me type a word without sticking something gooey in my face.

Scott Ames - I hear that.

My daughter thinks it's funny to hide my mouse somewhere in a kitchen drawer (she's 13 months) and likes to play "smash the keyboad with a remote" - a game I'm not particularly fond of.

    Hi big steve,

we all go different speeds in the path of success, some go slows some go fast. Some even leave the path to develop the skills needed only to return again to achieve their greatness.

What I'm basically saying is, in can take you 10 years to earn one dollar are one day to earn that same dollar. you must ask yourself what the dream is behind that one dollar bill, what it can achieve for you.

Anybody at any time, has the ability to achieve anything and everything in this world. The fuel behind achieving is motivation and the chemical the motivation are delivered by perceived value and each and every one of us placed different value on different things.

Only you can answer the question of how long it's going to take by identifying the value that you place upon it.

I can honestly say, you will achieve what you desire big steve. I truly believe in my heart that you can accomplish whatever it is you set out to do. just make sure it is what you want.

    Hey big steve...

I hear what you're saying - I think we've all gone through this at some point... you've just got to be bloody minded and push through it... Because you can! Personally I've gone from living on cold beans straight from the tin, to now being fairly successful online - Fact is, entrepreneurs keep going even when the next step may not be clear or obvious... So here's the tough love part... Bottom line "you can't make money and excuses at the same time..."

    Don't give up...
