Creating a Bridge Page for a Clickbank Product

Hey guys can you please help me out here!

I want to get traffic to my landingpage / website from Google Adwords. On my website I have got an affiliate link to a Clickbank product. Now I read that this method is against Adwords policy and it will pretty much get me banned. Is there a way around this?

What if I link (from my website via an affiliate link) straight to the clickbank order page?

Will this work? Or is this also against Adwords policy? This way though, the visitor would get straight to the checkout without having to go trough the sales page of the product.

Please can anyone share his experience with me thanks!

My experience has been; whenever I come across something that I'm unclear about, I contact the source and get clarity, in this case, Google and Adwords. If your concern is not answered in the FAQ, TOS, they have a pretty good size helpdesk.

I wouldn't stake my future business on answers from strangers, who could offer up advice which if you take wipes you out.

Find your answer with Google and quit trying to "game" their system.

Hi. What you need to do is set up a funnel. First, Don't put any links on your landing page just use it to collect emails and build your list. after they optin you can set your page to go through to your affiliate offer in a funnel type manner. this way you're safe & building your customer list.

    hope this helps Good luck

Thanks for replying! I have been thinking about this method as well. So basically I'd place my affiliate link at the thank you page of the opt-in email funnel. Or should I send the affiliate link in the email? My concern with the email option is that I would have some problems with the tracking...

There are of course huge competitive advantages for by-passing Clickbank vendor sales pages and driving traffic directly to the order page.

But without vendor approval this is against Clickbank's TOS and could get your account suspended or closed.

You must get specific and documented permission from each vendor you're promoting before using this technique.

However, many vendors are open to this proposal if you can demonstrate acceptable conversion rates and compliance with all applicable legal requirements.

It would still be a "bridge" page.

Yes but it would be one that makes sense as the visitor wouldn't be sent to another sales pages and instead would get straight to the check out page. I might have to ask google about this but I am not sure if they will answer me this...

I guarantee you, Google will not approve any bridge page no matter how much you think it makes sense. They dis-allowed bridge pages in like 2010.

Well do you think collecting emails and sending the affiliate link via the email is safe with AdWords?

YoungArt, Irrespective of Google Adwords policy, you'll be better off if you send your traffic to a landing page that perhaps gives away some information, and asks for an email where it is to be sent. Once they're on your email list, you can set up an autoresponder to pitch them repeatedly with your clickbank links. And these emails are person to person. Google won't be involved.

The best place to ask is ..Google support team.

I think you should be ok with this..it's almost like you place a checkout link on a button at the end of your sales letter if you'd have a product to sell...in this case it's a clickbank link...I don't see why would they ban it..This type of linking is done by a lot of businesses all over the world

on this case you need to use funnles without any affilite links cause google right now blocks account the promoting affilite links just use funnles with some free gift to collect your audience then you can start sending your offers

I thought you really did not understand how this business works.

But it's not your fault: you're just a beginner.

Firstly: don't direct traffic to the sell page directly. It's useless. You could make some profit but only once at time and very rarely, most of the traffic you send is wasted.

Instead, direct this traffic to an opt in page: give something back for the email, you can easily find something in the affiliate page of the vendor, and build your email list.

Secondly, learn how to sell to this list more than one product, in a specific niche.

    It's a whole science.

There's a reason why google does not allow this: google is there not for your profits, but to make the search the best one possible, for serious advertiser who spend millions.

So you can direct this traffic from adwords to an opt in page: how?

You need in this opt in page to put the privacy policy, the disclaimer and it has to be very clear who you are, i mean the "company" name.

And thorugh doing this, you can also use adwords.

To make any sales as an affiliate, you need traffic, and a niche. Once you pick a niche, you need to build a following based on that niche, so you can target traffic. Once you have a following, you pick a product to sale in that niche and the product literally will sell itself. You can try to use Facebook. You need at the least 1,000 friends in a desired niche to start making sales that way. you could try paid traffic systems also but I find that they only give fake traffic. So free is better and will work out best in the long run.

This is a person to person arrangement. Dont see why Google Adwords should have a problem with this.
