Looking for innovative ways to promote/validate dating advice for mens product

Just to make sure I understand. You have a CLIENT. Your client is paying you to what? Help build his website? Sell his product? What is your "hustle" and won't you get paid for your work during this time, or what don't we know?

In most cases, the client provides you with the details, the knowledge of the niche, the background info, what is your client providing you with?

Honestly, we don't have enough details. Shy men? About 80% of all men when it comes to talking to women, in what I can only assume is some sort of "meet women" thing, because opening your mouth and talking to women is an everyday thing. Unless there is a hiddent agenda, like trying to woo or seduce them. Ross Jeffries made/makes a lot of money selling to shy men.

Many books and courses for INTROVERTS.

Also, what is HIGH VALUE mean? Are you talking price?

Sorry for being so vague with my question.

The client is a sort of an acquaintance (recommended by one of my other client) and he is currently working on creating online courses for shy introverted men to build courage to approach and talk to their crush or any attractive women and get a date.

He is a complete newbie in terms of online business. So my job is to do everything apart from the product creation (website, landing page, copy writing, marketing, PR, etc.). Since he is bootstrapping, I am not being paid upfront. I am being offered a certain percentage of the total profit. So you can call it more of a JV, I suppose.

Even though I don't the guy personally, I like his enthusiasm and his confidence in the course he is creating. The course is not yet complete, so I am not able to see how good the product is,yet. All I know so far is that he was an extremely introverted and shy guy and came up with some kind of systematic process to overcome shyness and become outright charming around women. It doesn't rely on memorizing sleazy pickup line or dressing weirdly to attract women (aka peacocking).

High value as in both price and the quality of the content. Most of the expensive courses are from so called pickup artists like Ross Jeffries and I am not sure those systems work anymore.

Since I am new to this niche, I know very little about it. I am concerned how to promote the course as I need some kind of starting point. I can complete the website and landing pages, but the marketing stuff is where I draw a blank.

To be honest, I think you are taking most of the risk in this venture while probably accepting less for what you're doing than you should. If the product doesn't sell, what are you left with?

In a situation like this, marketing is everything! When you do everything needed to sell something online (other than create the product) you are taking on the lion's share of all the work. Creating the product is really the easy part.

Think about this - you could license an already done product or even hire a competent freelance writer to create the product for you. You would own the product and have complete control over it. You could keep 100% of the profit.

The hard part about all this is everything you are doing.

How about selling chat interaction with people who are good at it?

More personal, taylor-made, a new way of monetizing the site and it could probably be even funny for both parties.

The key for this to explode would be to offer advice for men in correlation with online dating programs like Pof and Tinder.

People suffer from this problem. So writing and self-publishing 5 to 10 short eBooks and pricing at $3.99 to $6.99 per eBook solves this problem beautifully.

I felt painfully shy around women until I went on my first date....at 26 years old LOL. Severe fears there. I'd have paid thousands for a course, and a few bucks for helpful eBooks? Forget about it. I'd be in.

Sometimes marketing advice or schools of thought are weird. We see human suffering. We know products or services would help address the suffering and solve problems. But since nobody has addressed the problem using a specific strategy - yet - we think it is not possible, wise or smart to be a pioneer.

The key now my friend is to get clear - aka clear fear - around addressing this problem with eBooks, courses, or whatever, really. The vehicle/method will work fine when you address and feel the fear that it won't work.

So cool that the pain point / problem is there for you. If folks suffer, they will seek whatever productive, high energy means possible to address and solve their problems. Write these eBooks, create courses, and as folks buy into the free content you publish via blog and video and podcast, those folks buy into you....then some buy whatever you create, be it eBooks, courses, whatever. Once they see you as a problem solver, they trust your abilities and buy what you offer, caring less about traditional or non-traditional means.

You can do a "test".

Build a facebook ads campaign and point it to a lead generation page where people can book the course for an early bird discount.

And bingo! you can see if it's performing.

Of course you can do the same for adwords, and other paid advertising.

If you succeed you wll have a list of people interested in buying, if you won't succeed you will know that you don't have to spend hours in it probably

Go the Tim Ferriss route - create the offer & sales page, take a little money and spend on AdWords/Facebook/Reddit advertising and presell the product idea.
