Submit Article To Over 50 Directories At Once!

Warriors,

Another newbie question.......I just downloaded the free "Article Submission Helper" program and was wondering if it's ok to submit an article to so many article directories?

There seem to be over 100 directories available for an article to be submitted. Will I be making a mistake if I did this or is it a standard procedure?

Thanks

Andy

      Hi,

I wouldn't advise doing it. You should submit one articles at a time. It's longer, but it's better.

      bye

From past experience I can tell you that while your article is submitted to all the directories it does not usually guarantee it will be accepted by all the directories.

But then I don't know what service you are referring to so it may be different. I did a service that was supposed to submit to hundreds of directories - and it did! But not all of them wanted specific niche related articles.

Speaking from personal experience -- it doesn't really matter.

Of course, it depends on what your goals are -- if you're looking for back links or if you're looking for traffic.

If you're looking for back links for search engine optimization purposes then submit it to all the article directories.

I would not do it manually... it just takes too much time.

For traffic , I would submit it to the top 10 article directories . You will not get much traffic from the rest .

Most article directories are just leeches these days -- they flood your article with ad sense, banner ads and now videos. The percentage of people clicking to your website is shrinking every day.

I would recommend that you first post the article to your website -- with a unique title. I would then rewrite the title and submit to other directories. (for ezine and some others rewrite the article itself.)

Besides article directories make sure you use 2.0 websites that don't have a lot of ads, banners etc. around your article. (Wordpress, Blogger and others)

I personally like Go Articles they allow you to put up to three links in the body of your article.

Hope this helps -- good luck

    Thanks,

I asked that question coz I'm a little confused with all this stuff about duplicate content. If I sent my original content to all these 50 odd sites would the sites that receive my article last consider my content to be duplicated because another directory had it first?

    Hope that question made sense.

Some article directories don't care if you're article is not original content and has already been published. Others, want original content only.

You need to read their "terms of service."

You really don't need article submission software you can use imacro to do it for you.

      www dot addons.mozilla dot org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863

Or you can purchase Robo form to store your login information.

Like Allen mentioned, each site is different and will allow you different amounts of links, or their minimum word count per article is higher than Ezinearticles.

I believe that manually submitting to a few respectable directories is just the same as getting 100 worthless backlinks from bottom-feeding, crap spewing article directories. I am not the only person who will tell you that either.

Why would you want your content associated at all with such poor websites?

Not to mention that they are disappearing off the face of the earth by the dozens every day. Backlinks that disappear aren't going to do you much good either.

Use the software, its a great time saver, but pick and choose your publishing spots wisely!

Can you do it ? The answer is yes you can and it is not going to hurt you at all (unless you do not follow the tos).. Does not matter if it is a new site or not.

Should you submit to anyplace you can ? The answer again is yes you should "AS LONG AS YOU KNOW THE SITE AND KNOW IT IS NOT JUST ANOTHER ADSENSE FARM".

Be warned though - 90% Of those submitters use generic categories and not the actual sites categories. This means your article will be rejected if the category does not exist... There are some sites that actually monitor the incoming articles by submission means and if they see you hitting a category that does not exist they know you are using submission software and can ban your account.

I suggest reading the TOS of every single site before you decide where to submit.

While auto submit may be nice, you could very well hurt yourself with software due to the fact that articles directories have different terms that the software knows nothing about.

    * Such as links are allowed in the body on one site but not allowed on another.
    * Such as you may be allowed 2 links in your resource box on one site but only allowed 1 link at others.
    * Such as keyword tags may be comma separated at one directory but another may require a underscore and space.

I just submit it from the top 5 ones, but Ezinearticles is the only one you need for traffic basically. The other ones could help for good back links. Also post the article on your own blog.

You have no idea how wrong that statement really is .... Well over 50% of EZA's traffic is from nothing but other marketers, competition, and those scrapers that steal your article and cut out the resource box.

I do submit some of my articles there in addition to other places (all after posting on my own sites first, of course) and I believe I do benefit from doing so, overall; but the idea of EZA being "the only one you need for traffic" is a real anathema to me; sorry.

Read it and memorize it folks. Another quality post.
