Hello Warriors,

Hoping that you have the time to help me figure something out in regards to a new project coming out.

I need to create interactivity with my website, the basic strategy of the site is for my readers to ask questions, and in return experts will answer their questions. To grab interactivity I have two solutions.

1) Every time you post you receive points, you can cash in your points for prizes.

2) If you post a question, an expert in the niche will respond.

What would you rather be interactive for?

    Howdy,

Why not allow for all users to answer questions rather than just an expert? Depending on what your site targets, and the question being asked, you could get some great interaction. Plus gives the community multiple quality answers.

Then allow either the questioner and/or the community to pick the best answer. Sort of a spin off of Yahoo Answers. Include points for asking, answering and having the best answer. This possibly keeps the community active too.

And, answers would probably be weighted heavier than questions, you don't want people just firing off 15 or 20 silly questions just for the points.

That could be the basis for a paid forum situation. However, if your site is expert driven this might not be the answer you seek.
