I have tried bing and adwords and my ROI on both these platform proved to be very low. Can somebody suggest other paid traffic sources to me. And please do not include "Solo Ads" in that as it has never worked for me.

I have tried bing and adwords
When you say "tried" what does that mean, exactly? Most people never move beyond initial testing. When it doesn't work the way they thought, they give up.

Well, Tried means, I have created campaigns, valid leads was also generated my point is, if you are creating a list of 10-15 contacts after spending $100, what is the point? That is too expensive..

I have a few questions, too.

    - How long have you been "trying" bing and adwords?
    - What does your site contain? Do you update it on a regular basis?

That tells me you did have some conversions.

So... did you dump the loser keywords and optimize on other campaigns?

Example, If you have 1 keyword out of 10 with low conversions, it's still a winner. You dump the 9 losers and pick 9 more new keywords, add in the 1 winner keyword and run another campaign. Keep repeating the process and your conversion rate should eventually go up.

I tried narrowing down my keywords, but could not achieve the final optimization. There were 2 scenarios, in the first one, I got a few leads by spending too much, when I tried to optimize the keywords, clicks stopped coming altogether..

Since you are promoting training, you can try facebook ads with relevant age-groups selected. It will fall cheaper than google ads. Have you tried this before? If not, give at least 10 days initial try and see if you get expected results.

  • Hey Salsym, it can be tough to get success on SEM platforms like Google and Bing. I would advise a change in mindset. Success is possible, but you might need to change your process.

Make sure you are doing adequate keyword research and optimizing campaigns as they go along. See what keywords get results, try different ad copy to see which ads people are more likely to click. Test, test, test. And don't limit yourself to testing for only one offer, rotate your traffic through different (relevant) products to see which has the most potential.

If you're really deadset on leaving search you can look into Facebook or Native, but those are gonna require much larger budgets, and will also require much testing and optimization. Any paid traffic will

Not interested in Facebook ads ? Forget all those mess that is happening around Cambridge Analytica. Facebook is still a lucrative place for advertisers. Their rates appear cheaper when compared to Adwords. If you define the target audience ( group ) correctly, conversions can be good.

If you're not good at PPC by results, I would suggest you to go with CPM (cost per mile). You will pay a certain amount for each thousand impression.

There are lots of self-serve platform for CPM. You should search online for Media Buying. Its much cheaper than PPC. If you can target your traffic properly, results will be definitely positive.

Search on google for Digital Media Buying.
    Best of Luck!

If you can't seem to get paid traffic to work, you could try "attracting" traffic via blogging, YouTube, Instagram, or Pinterest. Use them to build a list, them market products to that list.

Have you considered different niches? You are in one of the most competitive and skeptical niches there are.

I have one niche site that gets hundreds of clicks per week at an average $0.09 each.

There is an entire universe of possibilities beyond MMO.

I've heard many times: don't give up and you shouldn't.

Have you split tested your pages? Have you tried a different country? How much value do you offer to your leads?

If you provide more information I can help you generate traffic.

Bing, Adwords or any other form of 'paid' traffic requires a learning curve. In the beginning they all will seem like low ROI. There is no paid traffic that will yield instant highly converting ROI's.

Paid marketing takes a lot of time and money to learn how to bring down the costs and improve your ROI.

I agree with you. But, Bing is many times better than Adwords if you're thinking of traffic quality. Bing traffic converts best for affiliate & best for anything related age group of 40+

Try with Bing for cheaper clicks for conversions.

    Didnt you ever think that:

you need to know if your product REALLY SOLVE A PROBLEM: there is a market or not?

Your advertising copy matches your potential customer audience.

Try fb ads, but before ask an audit of your business to not waste time.

ALSO IF YOU TRIED SOLO ADS FOR IM PRODUCT and it didn not work, it's highly possible that the product is wrong, or u choose a bad seller (but if u say that it never worked i suppose u tried lots of them).

Facebook & Instagram ads are options that you can try.
Or you can try some methods of seeding your product somewhere (like forum, blog that related to your product) to attract traffic.

You're right. Though they're already competitive & expensive but cheaper than Adwords/ Bing. If you're thinking to go with social media for traffic, I will highly recommend you Reddit PPC.

Good day sir. Let me start off by telling you I've wasted A LOT of money on paid traffic. Over $3000usd so what I'm about to say comes from a position of compassion.

If you haven't been able to convert with Bing Ads, Adwords, or Solo Ads (haven't heard good things about solo ads) then the issue isn't the platform.

Info products are by far the toughest thing to sell online (in my experience at least) but the reason people do it is because the commissions are also the highest. However if I had it to do all over again I would've started off selling actual products.

Selling something that people can touch, feel, and smell is MUCH easier than an e-book or e-course. People are accustomed to free information and therefore take a lot of convincing to pay for information. Especially if it costs more than $15usd.

Therefore if you haven't been able to convert with any of those platforms I suggest fine turning your marketing skills before you waste anymore money on paid traffic.

Hi OP. I see that your main goal is to get leads (build a list).

Why not skip one of the steps (converting traffic to leads) and just go with a cpa network (if your budget allows it).

Or better yet...Go with a co-registration service like leaderve. You can get leads sent directly to your autoresponder for as little as .$40 per lead.

Meaning...Instead of getting 10-15 leads for your $100 (as you stated earlier), you will get 250 leads for the same price.

    Dear friend,

Do you have any back-end products?
Do you have any sales funnel?
Do you know about LTV (Customer lifetime value)

I know some paid traffic sources and paid leads sources. But if you don't have any sales funnel, don't think about paid traffic.

    Consider this...
2% of sales are made on the 1st contact.
3% of sales are made on the 2nd contact.
5% of sales are made on the 3rd contact.
10% of sales are made on the 4th contact.
80% of sales are made on the 5th-12th contact!!

Tried to follow this thread, seems like you are driving traffic to your own landing page. Your landing pages need tweaking.

Increase the conversion rate on your landers and your cost per lead acquisition will go down and your chance for profit will go up.

If you increase the conversion rate of your landing pages, you may be able to keep running the keywords that are producing the clicks in your campaigns.

Don't just assume the keywords are wrong and that bing and google do not work.

As I can see you are in the 'MMO' niche, first change your capture page. It's need to be stunning comparing what you now have. The 'capture page' looks made by an amateur (sorry for my word choice).

For the best conversions on your capture page you'll need to bribe your leads. Give them something of value (free video's, free ebook or something like that). Don't send people straight from you capture page to your offer but use a 'thank you' page in between.

After that search on udimi .com (yes try Solo Ads, because your niche is based on 'MMO') Search for the best seller with the highest conversions.

Start small with 100 clicks and see what happens.

FB doesn't like MMO ads so big change they will disapprove your ad.

You are right about FB ads in MMO niche. My ad was not approved. I stopped using Udimi after my first experience with them. I tried 2-3 sellers. No body could give me more than 10-11 leads in $100. You are right about my squeeze page. Earlier I was using leadpages but I tried to cut my expenses after a few months and discontinued them and then I started using one of the posts on my WordPress sites. I am sending them to offer page after "Thank You" page only.

    Hi man.

I run Adwords and Facebook campaigns as my day job (for 2 years now)- and I can tell you it has do with a lot of things.

You need to understand the platform's algorithm, have a good copy on your website/ landing page, understand your customer's buying journey...

What are you trying to achieve?

Frankly, I didn't understand what you want to say. Can you elaborate, specially on the term "Black Hat Traffic"?

I'm really shocked to hear this. These are two great traffic sources.

Can you share details on how you selected your keywords, targeting, etc?

Also, how many ads did you test?

Did you use a landing page? Did you optimize it?

Also how much was spent before you called it quits? How much is your backend offer worth on conversions and how much did you pay on each keyword (or other variable). How long did you run campaigns for?

Sorry, I wanted to reply to you earlier but got distracted by your free report and started downloading it.
Yes, I agree with you but my point is that doing split testing is so expensive / risky in google adwords specially when you are not sure whether any of your split testing will bring out any positive result??

What are you trying to sell / promote ? That is the main point. For Adwords you need to know the drill very much. Everybody uses Facebook ads with super targeted audiences. You can also create a CPA offer and promote it in some CPA network, create a list, etc, etc.

Solo Ads never worked for me either.

An never deal with "Add More Traffic"

After they received my money I couldn't get in-touch with them again.

Yet they still kept sending me emails saying complete my order while all the time my PayPal account shows they received their payment.

Thankfully PayPal got involved and refunded my money.

I don't think PayPal will allow them to use their services anymore.

  • Image result for what is paid traffic in google analytics
This traffic source is divided into organic or non-paid search engine traffic meaning that the visitor clicked on a so-called natural search result and CPC or paid search engine traffic, which is the traffic you purchase (via pay-per-click ads_ from search engines.
