How to Choose Totally Awesome Offers for your E-mail List?

Hi,

I follow a Three-step Process for selecting offers for my list.

Step #1: Check the Offer Statistics: This includes statistics like initial $/sale, average $/sale, data on upsells (average rebill total and average % rebill), conversion rate, EPC and refund %.

Step #2: I look at the seller history. Has the seller previously created products which convert well? Is he a known face in the industry? Does he have a large responsive email list himself.?

Step #3: I do my own Google research. I also explore the sales page and affiliates page in depth to see if I personally like what is being offered.

I really must choose the Most Awesome Affiliate Offers for my subscribers.



Any other suggestions/ inputs?

    An offer may pass your 3-point checklist and still not be a good fit for your subscribers. That should be the first step in any product evaluation.

    Here's how I pick a good offer for my list.


    First we need to establish something...


    A good offer to your list needs to accomplish a few things...


    #1 - For You - It needs to convert well.
    #2 - For your subscribers - It needs to be a good product (It must deliver on it's promises)
    #3 - For you and your subscribers - It must be a product that your list is interested in (the proper niche or sub-niche)


    Here's my process....


    Step 1 - Either get a review copy or buy the product itself to make sure of it's quality.
    Step 2 - Make sure the product is suited to your list. You know why people subscribed to your list. So...you should know what they are interested in.
    Step 3 - Check out the sales page, check out the conversion rates, and check out the refund rates.


    It everything looks good, then I promote the product to my list.

    Thanks for the inputs. Also, rightly mentioned, an offer must convert well.

    Any preference you guys give to offers which have an upsell? Cause I personally like offers which have rebilling possibilities.

    The best way is to test the product by buying it first. If you are not convinced that the product is awesome, then your subscribers will probably feel the same way too.

        Cmon man, ease up on the wallet.

        If you've done research and it looks good, why wouldn't you buy it and use that purchase to analyze the buying process that your own traffic will experiance?

        It's a business expense, document it and write it off on your taxes.

Like everything else in online marketing, testing is the best way to find out what my work for you. As the saying goes "one man's meat is another man's poison." Need to ultimately sort it all out for yourself.

    Honestly this is not my personal 'best way' but like women that are always running through my mind.. they dare not walk..


    Sometimes the best offers for my lists are already advertised on my sites. Simple as that. I would not have placed an ad or offer on the site if that offer was not already getting traffic. Here the idea is to capitalize on you assets that are proven earners.


    Lots more to it than that, but it works for me till the products exhausts itself, but by that time we only need to have a newer product that improves on the older product, etc.

    If you have a great relationship with your list the most saturated products actually will also work and give good conversion. Check the Gravity the Higher The more its selling.
