Whom do you look up to/ follow?

Hi,

"I believe we are all learners throughout our internet marketing journey."

I wanted to know who do you all look up to every day. I mean which famous internet marketer do you follow? What blogs do you follow? What all podcasts do you listen to?

Also, when you are down/ not feeling motivated, what videos do you watch/ books do you read to pump yourself back up?

    No one.

    None.

    What blogs do you follow?
    None.

    None.

    None.

First, I rarely, "get down," but if if should, I employ two techniques. I go to the mailbox and retrieve my bills and then I look in the mirror and ask myself just what the hell I'm made of.

    Podcasts. That's funny!

    Cheers.

As opposed to 1 person - I see many rocking folks daily - I really love a book called A Course In Miracles. Fabulous for moving from fear to love, and keeping inspired, having fun and serving folks. Def give it a look buddy.

As it relates to YOU Fear would be the fear of not knowing what fear is.. and then thinking you are fearless.. which is just a wall protecting the truth from the Truth

Drivel, much - Dr. Freud? Please, never tell a totally-disabled, combat-veteran of the Tet Offensive that they don't know what fear is. The fact that I survived is why I never live in fear - of anything.

First of all THANK YOU for your service. Secondly YOUR SACRIFICE will not be forgotten. I was born in 68. I was born at Sill, and raised at Bragg. Few and far between I have heard stories of the time. Not really a topic that is " Brought up " that is for sure. I am sure as it is for my Father it is a time one wishes to forget but cant help but remember.

Please accept my sincerest apology if I did offend you, that was by no means the intent.

Actually, it's something that I don't ever want to forget, but maybe I just say that because I am incapable of forgetting. lol

Not at all. Seeing as how I could be easily accused of putting forth a steady stream of drivel, myself - if you're going to dish it out, you have to be able to take it.

You apology is appreciated, but it truly wasn't necessary. I would have only been truly offended, if you didn't believe me.

That said, I wasn't 100% honest. I do have a tremendous fear of bad coffee.

      Thank You!

I just saw the book. It looks amazing! Definitely on my list now.

And yes, It's true. I also believe in getting motivation from multiple people when I need it. Pumps up my energies.

It's hard to find people who provide useful information instead of taking the low-hanging fruit of regurgitating motivational platitudes. And once you do, I find that it isn't long before you've learned everything you can from them and their content starts becoming predictable and repetitive.

I could make a list of all the people I've learned from over the years, but I'd say the one person I learned more from than anyone else would be Gary Vaynerchuk. I don't think I would have the relative amount of success I currently have if I hadn't been paying very close attention to what he teaches.

Typically this happens to people who try to get wealthy by using a marketing medium that gets them false results. Like solo ad marketplaces. Or bulk email marketing.

To pump myself up, I start new websites. If one site isn't performing, I decrease my advertising spend for that site, and venture into a new niche that proves to be promising - due to low advertising spend, but high returns and conversion rates when it comes to opt-in email marketing. This boosts my spirits up in a heart beat.
