    I recently went through an internet search for exactly what you are looking for. The answer could depend on what you can afford and it might depend on whether you mind the platform's watermark appearing in your animations and it could depend on the variety of templates available for you to work with.

    Another possibility to consider is if you are committed to animation for the long haul or might be inclined to switch to conventional video from time to time.

    Obviously, you can do a search and the are literally 100s of comparison reviews out there. I have a few favorites, but the one that stands out for the 3 criterion I mentioned is RenderForest. Just one man's opinion...

    Back in 2016 we were using PowToon, used pro account there, but we were lucky to get it for 49$ per year. I wouldnt say it was smooth experience but at the end we got what we were looking for.

    The combo of PowerPoint and Explaindio is not only much cheaper than Doodly, they are better and much more powerful too.

    Doodly is $69 a month if you want to sell the videos you make, $39 or $59 a month if you don't.

    Explaindio is $69 a year (not a month like Doodly) if you want to sell the videos you make and PowerPoint is $7 a month (or 69.99 a year) and includes all the other Office software. Combined they do everything Doodly does and a lot more that Doodly doesn't.
