How to stop my presell email sequence once lead buys clickbank product

I have been building marketing sequences for years for all kinds of businesses that I worked directly with.

I want to promote some clickbank products that I do NOT own.

Is there any commonly used method for affiliates to get some sort of trigger back when a purchase occurs so I can stop emailing them to buy, whey they already have?

In this world of sending messages based on behaviour I can't imagine there is no way to do this...

    Start imagining.

Your affiliate link passes the visitor to the merchant site. If the visitor subsequently clicks on the merchant's buy button, he/she is then passed to the payment processor. It is only then that the actual purchase takes place.

While the payment processor typically has a means to return the visitor back to the merchant (i.e. to a thank you page), I know of NO payment processor that even knows who the affiliate was, much less notifies that affiliate that a sale was completed.

Likewise, while there are sales/order processing systems (i.e. ClickBank) that are aware of who the affiliate was, I know of NO sales/order processing system that then notifies that affiliate of the sale in any manner other than by email. I know of no existing automated interface between the sales/order processing system and any one (much less all) auto-responder systems to remove the buyer from that particular affiliate's mailing list.
