Trying to buy traffic on Digg, but Kevin Rose is being a douche and not responding to my tweets.

Also tried contacting their advertisement department.

Anyone here know anyone who works at Digg.com?

Would appreciate a hook-up.

    not sure why you would want to advertise there. Its going to be shockingly overpriced and the only justifyable ROI you could get is via retargeting (if they would do it) or for wide scale branding. (not direct response)
    not to mention the almost useless bongload fanboi <noscript> traffic it produces (unless you are selling macs, marijuana or .........orange juice.....:rolleyes

    however..... if you want to reach the same audience, just take an ad out on
    imgur: the simple image host

    which is the un(official) image host of digg and all the same fanbois end up going through there anyways.

    The owner is named Alan and quite responsive and last time I checked he was selling banner space by the month. Though a quick look at the site seems that he has outsourced it to a more automated ad placement program...

    The conversion on DIGG traffic is terrible, it's probably one of the last places I would go for advertising... been there, done that. Won't be doing it again

    However...

    Calling Kevin a douche on a public forum is probably not going to help your cause

    I don't know. Maybe he is waiting until you really blast him out to respond. Call him something really foul and see if that helps.

    Cause you don't sound like a douche at all! At any rate. Use your head, find employees on LinkedIn and contact them through that service, FB or find their email address. I know someone that just left the company and he could probably help with the right contact but I think that your problem lies in your approach. Asking someone to advertise VIA Twitter is really weird. You know Kevin has that setup to keep rockstar status not answer customer support questions.
