i am trying to find a wordpress theme for a blog, and i hope you can help journey through the jungle

Samsung CMO Marc Mathieu Samsung CMO - Business Insider

is sort of what i have in mind

the print is large - easier to read for old eyes so i don't need a magnifying glass

(most theme i have seen have tiny print)

and the print is dark

(most themes i have seen have grey-ish print for some reason that is also hard to read)

so that's basically what i'm looking for

Is there a theme on the market that won't let you change the font color and size? That's ridiculous.

I'm starting to agree with others who have suggested you are just posting to spam your sig. link.

    • Wordpress theme hugely depends on the type of business and content structure. When you are designing and adding content to the website, you need to think about SEO part as well, which makes business visible and profitable. For sure, you can use website templates. Wordpress themes can be good as well: I'm aware of DIVI themes. However, coding from scratch can be good as well. It depends on your budget, business goals, team, etc.

Right, as if the vast majority of IM'ers possess this skill. Next you'll tell them that they should develop it.

I've heard that many of the world's most successful race car drivers couldn't change a spark plug if their life depended on it.

Most themes, today are SEO friendly and if not there are numerous plugins available to simplify the task.

"Coding from scratch," except to create something that doesn't already exist that will meet your needs, which will not be a WP theme, is for Troglodytes.

It's certainly easy to do. When you find a blog you like, copy the URL then go to this site and submit it. The site will tell you if the theme in question is WordPress or a custom theme. In addition, it will tell you the theme name and the plugins the site in question is using.

I use and like Studio Press themes.

As others have said, don't worry about the text font, size, or color . . . it can all be changed very easily on any WP theme.

    Good luck,

I just picked up Moto Theme Version 3. It's absolutely incredible. Pretty much nothing that can't be done with it.

It's a premium theme, however. I paid $39 for it. Well worth it. There are also loads of detailed tutorial vids with it.

Some people like OptimizePress. I didn't really care for it. That's kind of the way it is with WordPress. Different strokes for different folks.

Thrive Themes is my favorite. You can customize for mobile and tablets without having to change the desktop version. Comes with Thrive Architect which is an outstanding landing page builder in its own right. There's a bit of a learning curve for some of this, but there is an abundance of tutorials for every skill level.

Divi by Elegant Themes. It's updated weekly, if not daily. They offer tons of pre-made theme packages with new ones released weekly. You can put together just about anything you can imagine, without looking like an Internet marketing cliche'. Of course it's responsive (without extra futzing) and allows you to customize for tablets and mobile devices if you want.

Google will guide you, but I prefer to have my developer build a custom theme for me. I see it as the best way to stand out from the crowd in a genuine way. Whatever your path, go with simple, clear and clean. The best themes seem to be the cleanest, simplest numbers, which look and feel pleasing to me.

Take any good template where you can show large slides. They are very attractive. My advice to you.

Divi is a really good responsive theme. Very versatile but depends on your application. What you described you were looking for is pretty much every theme on the market.
