What Else Can I Do To Promote My Business / Website?

Hi,

Below Is My Business Website:

https://www.beinghumanoid.com/

It is in the Self Help / Energy Healing niche.

I have made some money with it, however my main problem is getting TRAFFIC to it.
I have a blog connected with it, although I admit I don't write in it enough.
I have an associated Facebook page that I am building likes for.
I post in Facebook groups that are related to the topic/product I am promoting.
I buy traffic through Adfly, is that a mistake?
I have a contact list with at least 1,500 or so subscribers that I keep contact with.
I give away a free healing mp3 to new subscribers as a way of building said list.
I have been a traffic exchange surfer for years. Problem is over the years I realized that TE traffic is of people who don't have money (thus, why they are surfing for traffic to promote what they are promoting.)
I have submitted website to search engines.
I do my best with SEO.
I regularly post ads through the Adhitz network for traffic.
I sometimes buy traffic from Fiverr gigs (is that a mistake?)
I have my link in my signature in the EMS forum and some others if I am in them.
I have considered YouTube videos, just not sure yet what to create as content in said videos.

What can I do different to improve traffic and sales of my products?
Any advice? Thank You.

Maybe you're following the wrong strategy. Traffic gathered from such tools mostly contains non-conversing clicks.

Instead of putting money in all these campaigns, find yourself a reliable & budget-friendly SEO company or experts who will do these tasks professionally for you. SEO will help your website to gather traffic driven from search engine rankings & your hired experts will guide your site according to the needs. Otherwise Forums, Social Media Engagements and Well Written Blogs are the ones helpful in gathering organic traffic.

You may consider targeted Paid Traffic from Bing/Adwords. Bing Offers frequent Webinars for effective ways to use their Platform. Since your Products are Audio/Visual, posting Videos on YourTube and other Video sites may help build your Audience.

Think long term, not short term a website takes times to grow and to make it an authoritative one if you have a budget then its easy and quick one for if higher professional. it will save your time. Your traffic sources should be diversified.

How much "real" traffic have you received from these sources?

Said a different way . . . "How do I do Internet marketing." Which, of course, is the very broad basis of this entire web site.

I have learned through my experience online that when something isn't working, I need to identify specific problem areas and focus on getting them working, one at a time . . . like parts of a machine . . . so that the business can run smoothly and efficiently.

Just as a suggestion for you, I would dig into the following variables individually in order to "fix" them and get them running smoothly:

    1. Do I know my audience and what they are looking for? Have I done online research to see what they are buying, who the competition might be, and how I can carve out my own niche (position my business) so that it is unique and valuable to the audience?

    2. Is my web site simple, straight-forward, easy to navigate, intuitive, and does it give the audience help, guidance, or some knowledge in the niche? Am I gathering email subscribers and do I nurture them and assist them regularly?

    3. What is the main offer on my web site and how is it better and different from all my competition? Is it compelling and does it convert a healthy percentage (every niche is different) of viewers into buyers? Is my copywriting engaging and motivating? Have I removed all the risk and objections from the offer?

    4. What social proof am I using and how compelling is it? Does it clearly show that my offer has helped other "everyday people" to solve their problems and desires?

    5. Do I have a strong call to action and a secure risk-free financial transaction sequence?

    6. Am I seen as an authority figure in the niche? Do I have testimonials and links from other recognized authorities in the field?

    7. What does my funnel (or buying sequence if you prefer that term) look like and is it effective in ushering a prospect toward some level of conversion that makes sense for him/her?

    8. Where is my targeted traffic coming from and how diverse are the sources? Do I know how to judge human traffic from all other kinds? How many successful sellers in my targeted field have my link on their web site?

    9. How may "entry points" do I have scattered across my targeted marketplace? Do I have diversity and a strong presence in my link platforms? Am I inviting and incentivizing new prospects via blog posts, press releases, podcasts, targeted emails, online articles, guest posts, free lead magnets on squeeze pages, forum posting, question answering, and other "outreach" tactics?

    10. Am I giving of my time to prospects, customers, and others in my niche? Am I being genuine, helpful, true to my mission, and sensitive to those who desire my help?

This list should get you started. Of course, there are other considerations as well, but it has been my experience that too many people just "waste" whatever traffic they get because they don't have an appealing or compelling message in their business.

All the new traffic in the world isn't going to make your business successful if . . . when the traffic arrives . . . it simply shrugs and leaves your site for other more engaging and targeted venues.

    The very best to you,

    Steve

I would suggest that advertise on blogs/websites related to your site. You can do this from ad networks like buy/sellads etc...

did you try buysellads like above member said? They do have many websites and cheap advertising packages.

I also think that Facebook ads can help you a lot. It's one of the best ways to target to the your exact audience. I would use a squeeze page before suggesting the site to them via email follow ups.

Also read the post of Steve B carefully!

    Hi you did everything right.

But you get your angle WRONG.

Now exactly what do I mean by that?

You do not have an audience or network even though you think you have.

Now this is something I discovered myself 2 years ago having listened and watched very closely what successful marketers do.

    1. Picking A Niche

Knowing what they like, know a lot and can help others.

    2. Finding And Networking With People In Their Niche

Through forums, FB groups and offline networking events like in Meetup.com

Not just connecting and helping them but building an audience long-term

    3. Create Their Own FB / Networking Groups

Once they do, that is when they funneled all those people they knew and had gained trust to join their groups

And when those people do, they will ocntinue to provide value.

Through their posts, blog posts, articles, videos etc.

When those people eventually get educated and make informal decision to buy, then they earn.

And when they earn, they reinvested into their business through paid and solo ads.

Do you see my whole point?

Sales and marketing is NOT just about selling as I mentioned in my last post but CONNECTING with and helping people.

That is how they trust and buy from you.

    And you earn.

You need a list of people to be built ; monetization can happehappen through trial and error. Know who is your audience and build the list via paid ads. Get a blog around your audience ; know the types of keywords they type in search engines. Write articles for those keywords, you can have somebody to write for you if you are not good at writing. Send the built list to your blog every week with new articles. Put your store banner on the sidebar and direct them to buy. Sometimes you can send directly to your store via email. If you can have 20 ,000 to 30,000 people and if only 1000 buy for $5 that's $5000 per month...

One traffic source that's worked for me is Pinterest. If you do it right, you can get thousands of people to your website.
    - Update your profile with a good description and add your webpage link
    - Then work on getting your Pinterest followers to at least 1000 by following others in your niche daily.
    - You don't need to essentially Pin something new daily. Keep repinning other's pins. Focus on images that are eye-catching (choose vertical ones as much as possible)
    - Once you touch 1000, start applying to Group Boards. many of these have 100s of 1000s of members. Once you get accepted into a few group boards, start pinning on those boards - This time pin your articles/ blog posts etc.
Once you get on these group boards, you have a huge audience and getting even a small percentage to click on your pins will get you a significant number of visitors to your website.

Adfly isn't the best quality, I would stay away.

If you can do paid traffic, I would look at Facebook Ads, Bing Ads, or maybe even PPV.

For some fast targeted traffic you can:

    - Setup PPC campaign on Bing Ads
    - Setup PPC campaign on Google Adwords (Google Ads)
    - Advertising on relevant but non-competitive sites in your niche
    - Contacting your email list more often
    - Make Youtube videos as you hinted to
    - Participate on forums in your niche
    - Joint venture with list owners in your niche
    - Start an automatic referral marketing campaign using a free ebook

I am trying to help when I say this.. to everyone in this thread that says use paid advertising... they apparently did not look at your site. I am going to assume the site gets very little organic traffic.. and the traffic you do get bounces like a super ball in a gymnasium. DO NOT SPEND ANOTHER DIME ON TRAFFIC

Your site needs a complete overhaul. You need to do some serious reading on website structure and theory.... a home page is NOT a set of links a banner ad and a list of products to buy. You are sending people there to get your free offer, and there is no way to get it? or sign up for a news letter.. or nothing.

We do not live in a " build it and they will come " world.. that only happens in movies. Website pages need to be built with design and intention. A home page should welcome people.. and send them to other sections of the site of interest... Most popular items in the shop. Latest blog posts. Hi my name is X and I do Z. Sign up to my news letter and get Y.

You need to spend some time and regardless of niche you look at... Success will look the same. the same variables will be present on the Home page. the same set of variables will be present on the blog pages. Don't re-invent the wheel.. find models of success and replicate.

Best of luck.. I wish the best for you.

Your list alone should bring in a healthy income!

Are your 1500 subscribers buying from you? If not, why not? When you have identified why not, you won't need a list 30K, and can apply the other strategies as top-ups

If they are, multiply your tactic until you are happy with your level of income.

Better to have a list of 1000 subscribers with 50 that buy, than a list of 30000 subscribers who don't

    2. Grab the backlinks of your competitors
    3. Build maximum number of quality backlinks
    4. Headlines should be attractive

Organic rankings refer to those generated as a result of natural traffic to your site; in other words, your site generated traffic based on the services it offers, the appeal of its title and meta description, the brand recognition you've built, your implementation of white hat SEO tactics, etc. Conversely, AdWords is an advertising platform in which businesses pay to run ads for their sites. These ads will appear on the top or side bars of a results page and will indicate that they are not organic. However, AdWords shouldn't be dismissed; AdWords is a good tool for targeting niche audiences based on specific keyword searches, and only operates on a pay-per-click basis.

savidge4 is right, you don't have a traffic problem, you have a content disaster.

I went to the blog section and there were only 3 articles. There should be a hundred or more and the most recent (or most popular) should be right up front , The first thing you see.

Put yourself in the visitors shoes, if YOU click on link posted by someone you don't know and visit a site you've never seen to be confronted with books you've never heard of, would you stay long?

I'm guessing you aren't getting much social traffic and the bulk of what you are getting is from the low quality networks you mentioned.

Heres a tip, take it to heart - STOP focusing on what you want and need (sales/income) and START focusing on what your site visitors Want and need (entertaining and informative information about the subject they are interested in) and you will both be rewarded

Heres the rub though,It's gonna take some work. Even if you do a redesign and get the content right you still aren't going to make many sales with those low quality traffic sources.

A few ideas for you Myrg.....

I have made some money with it, however my main problem is getting TRAFFIC to it.

    - get traffic by giving away value through your blog, YouTube, FB Live videos, and also by promoting other bloggers in the self help niche.

I have a blog connected with it, although I admit I don't write in it enough.

    - intend to publish 2-3 helpful posts weekly aligned with self help

I have an associated Facebook page that I am building likes for.

    - cool, but focus less on things (Likes) and more on building 1 to 1 bonds with human-oids (I could not resist LOL)

I post in Facebook groups that are related to the topic/product I am promoting.

    - post your stuff, and also, comment on other group member's updates, share their blog posts and comment on their blogs

I buy traffic through Adfly, is that a mistake?

    - never buy blog traffic because it is low quality; those folks do not want to read your content.....they were just bribed on the cheap

I have a contact list with at least 1,500 or so subscribers that I keep contact with.

    - thumbs up buddy

I give away a free healing mp3 to new subscribers as a way of building said list.

    - I dig it; thumbs up

I have been a traffic exchange surfer for years. Problem is over the years I realized that TE traffic is of people who don't have money (thus, why they are surfing for traffic to promote what they are promoting.)

    - if the traffic comes super easily without you being super skilled and connected, yep, it'll be broke folks reading your blog Prospering traffic is earned over years, as you put in the time to become a skilled writer and generous, connected blogger.

I have submitted website to search engines.

    - Cool

I do my best with SEO.

    - Me too

I regularly post ads through the Adhitz network for traffic.

    - Skip this

I sometimes buy traffic from Fiverr gigs (is that a mistake?)

    - Skip this; another cheap traffic source, or, low quality traffic

I have my link in my signature in the EMS forum and some others if I am in them.

    - I dig it

I have considered YouTube videos, just not sure yet what to create as content in said videos.

    - Create videos helpful for your readers

What can I do different to improve traffic and sales of my products?

    - Check out the points I made above.

    Happy Blogging.
