If you have a WordPress Blog and a forum, do you use a WP plugin for your forum or just link to a forum outside of your WP blog?

Thanks for your input.

Thanks John! I have been looking for just this plugin. I have a site I have been working on and its confusing to most people to have a separate blog. So I think this will integrate in nicely!

Simpleress works amazing. I use it as well. I like the fact that I can use Wishlist Members and keep my forum locked inside a membership site.

Matt, this is exactly my situation

I am a new WishList owner and not just looking for a forum that I can setup but one that will work within my WishList Members area.

      Thank you very much!

There is also a bridge available for phpBB in wordpress. It makes the phpBB work within your wordpress blog, including username integration.

I tried it a few months ago, for a project that never kicked off. Might want to check it out too.

We also use Simplepress and it's pretty neat but another alternative is bbpress.org

Simple Press will do everything you need. I have set it up on a couple of blog membership sites and it works quite well.

    Thanks,

    John

I guess you mean Wishlist Member. As far as I know, no it doesn't have a built in affiliate program. It manages your membership and doesn't keep track of sales. It integrates with 1SC, Paypal, etc.

If you cancel someone you'll have to come back and manually turn them off inside Wishlist member, too.
