Convenient and safe messenger

What is the most convenient and safe messenger in your opinion? since recently began to think about the real decentralization of any messenger and realized that in any case every owner of the messenger has access to personal (and not just a pre-letter). which is very embarrassing. Does this fact worry you?

    If small businesses spent time worrying about who was listening into and watching their transactions then they would be paralysed.

    It might be different if you have something commercially sensitive but for most of us we deal in the real world of everyday transactions and there is something to remember when working in this space and that is money tends to like speed.

    To succeed you communicate fast, transact fast, deliver fast. move on.

    Do you mean like Facebook messenger or Skype messenger? If you're worried about things like hacking, IP address knowledge or getting information about you online... some shady sites probably already have alot of this information about you - that can be obtained by a simple credit card payment.

    There's an app called Signal I use instead of FB Messenger. Encrypted communication. You can google it...has a blue and white speech bubble with dashes around it as a logo.

    Feel the fear. Do it anyway. Fear dissolves. As does paranoia Max. Not a problem for me because I am not afraid of FB or Messenger; awesome means of building business through a personalized touch.

The source code of mobile clients and the server part is published, so you can not be afraid of having hidden bookmarks in it. So I think this is the best security decision.

    Three personal comments to consider regarding online security:


    1. If you choose to use the Internet, you choose to assume some level of risk. Nothing is 100% secure (that I am aware of) as long as humans are involved somewhere in the process.


    2. Any platforms, web sites, and software are only as good and safe as their creators and managers make them. Even then, "secure" today doesn't necessarily mean secure tomorrow.


    3. IMO, levels of security need to be balanced with human user utility and user friendliness. You can add so many levels and hoops and steps to any message or transaction that it tends to keep people away from the product simply because it's too much hassle. The simpler the better when it comes to consumers.

    I have always been concerned with the fact of my security and the safety of my data, so I can say about Telegram and Signal. But to be honest, I do not even trust them. Therefore, it is difficult to give a single-valued answer.
