Clickbank/Paydotcom vs RAP - I need your help to decide

Hi Warriors,

I have a product in the weight loss niche which I am about to promote shortly.

I have the dilemma of deciding whether to go ahead and purchase RAP (Rapid Action Profits) or simply sell the product through clickbank/pay dot com.

My biggest concern if I purchase RAP is not having a pool of affiliates to promote my product.

I would love to hear from experienced RAP users on what you did to build your list of affiliates quickly.

Any advice/feedback gratefully accepted.

    I have the same dilemma currently.
    However, i think that i will use Amember script instead of RAP.

      Rap confuses the hell out of some people including me!

      I would suggest that you go for clickbank, and contact existing affilaite of other products.

    What i don't like with CB - very big refund rate over there. Plus ou can't make 2tier commission system

      Does Paydotcom has lower refund rate? I heard that affiliates have less protection in paydotcom.. is this true?

      Not necessarily.

      I have both IM and non Im products on CB.

      I find my IM products get about 5% - 8% refund, but the pope would probaby get a similar rate.

      Over hyped products and products that don't deliver on their promises will have a much bigger refund rate. If your product is good then don't worry about it.

      Non IM products can have a very low refund rate, I have one that has sold over 50 copies and so far has a 0% refund rate. I've had others that failed to top 1%

      don't let fear of something that may or not happen cloud your judgement. If you find you are getting a high refund rate ask your clients why they are asking for a refund and fix the issue

    I use to be with paypal, but I'm currently switching all my sites to clickbank.

    As for the refund rate, it will depend on the quality of your product, and they've just improved their system so you can save a sale.

    They all have their advantages and disadvantages.

    Clickbank and Paydotcom give you the advantage of active affiiliates searching for products to sell. But you'll always get a jumpstart by contacting affiliates to let them know of your product anyway, no matter how/where you decide to set up your affiliate program.

    Rapid Action Profits has a big advantage for affiliates - instant commissions, which they love. Affiliates don't worry about not getting paid when the product sells through Clickbank, but they do when it's left up to the vendors to pay them, as is the case with Paydotcom.
