can i build my sites value before it goes live?

i had a couple websites in the past in different niches. i remember the people i contracted to work on them told me that it takes time to see good organic results on search engines. it makes sense...

i have a business in a very regulated state industry and it may take 2-3 months before my licenses get accepted. in the meantime, i want to have my site built and "parked" until the state says im ready to go.

i already own the domain and business page on FB. i was wondering if there is anything that can be done SEO wise, or BlackHat ish to build some value before my site actually goes live?

No. If your site is not just have a published and can not be spidered by google, then you just have a domain name.

Why don't you just launch the site now and build some content and back links to it. You don't need a license to build a website in any state.

One thing you could do is prepare articles to publish when your site goes live.

Articles can help SEO a great deal.

You could also create videos on Youtube and then add your website link when it goes live.

This will help you a great deal - because Youtube videos rank very well and you will probably get a ton of visitors from them - once you add your website link to them after it has gone live - you will also get an avalanche of traffic!

    Hope this helps.
