In need of some warrior advice

Hey all

Well basicly I'll let you all know where I am, currently I market the opportunity YourNetBiz, i went it at the bronze level (the lowest level) because of funds etc and have had barely anything else to spend on marketing etc, I mainly focus on free advertising/marketing methods and after 4 months ive not made a penny.

Now I believe in the product, its mainly a cash problem for me, so I may pull out of the program, get my money back and start again with somthing else that dosnt require alot of money to get into, and build myself up from there.

I can only dedicate 1/2 hours a day, more a weekends to Internet marketing, I strongly believe that I can make money, and once i make that first commision the buzz from that will inspire me to go further.

So what is your advice?

I even thought of telling my sponsor to tell all his members in his team to get in touch with me if they wanted an article writing for them, maybe charging $5 a article and earning cash that way to upgrade my product package and to spend on marketing!

Im just stuck at the moment

Maybe the reason you haven't made any money yet is down to the "product" and not the marketing, I don't know much about YourNetBiz but I do know about product creation and successfully choosing markets to sell too.

The market you're targeting is highly competitive and full of weary customers, many people are selling the exact same product / opportunity.

I would never try to sell anything unless I knew for a fact, people wanted to buy what I had to offer.

This is where most people go wrong, they get a product or something to sell first and then start trying to figure out how and who they're going to sell too.

When in fact they should be looking for Marketplaces and what people in a particular marketplace really want to buy! And then find or create the product or service they want!

If I were you, I would turn my attention to your own Hobbies and interests, I would pick a hobby or subject that I were interested in, get to know the marketplace and then create a product that people in that market wanted to buy, one with Low or no competition!

In my experience people don't need to be "talked into" spending money on their hobbies!

    forget MLM

Just my thoughts, best of luck

I have to agree with Alex

I am not a big fan of MLM/Network Marketing. There are to many companies selling the same over priced products to an already very skeptical market that has been burned time and time again.

And I certainly don't think you should have to pay someone every month, by buying products and such to get a paycheck and stay in business.

Find your passion through your interests and hobbies and use that as your avenue to earn money online.

My suggestion is Affiliate Marketing, when you think about it you are already an affiliate marketer for this current company, the big, big difference it will cost you nothing to join a valid affiliate program and nothing to stay an affiliate.

The only similarity is the methods you choose to promote your products or service. As money is limited I would suggest use artilce marketing, again this is free to do and is a very successful way of long term marketing.

1/2 hour per day is plenty of time to write an article one day and the next day submit it to article directories. Here are some good directories you can submit your articles to, Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Idea Marketers and Article Dash Board.

You can also submit your articles directly to Ezine owners that are targeted directly at the product or service your are promoting. An article written by you that is accepted in someones Ezine for distribution to there subscription base can produce fantastic results.

This is just my 2 cents, but whatever you decide to do I want to wish all the success in the world.

The way I look at it you've got your priorities in reverse.

Too much time we waste by promoting a money making program, trying to convince people why they should buy into it.

What you should be doing instead is finding what people really need and then give that to them, it makes things a lot easier I can tell you that your marketing efforts will start to get some traction.

What kind of stuff? Look around your house, too often we chase make money opportunities when there's money to be made in consumables, everyday products that people buy on a regular basis like furniture, appliances, televisions, digital video cameras, mobile phones, computers, exercise equipment, etc.

It's a huge market that will never reach saturation especially with our ferocity with which we consume products. Try looking for products to promote in Commission Junction, Amazon, eBay or creating some Adsense pages. You could even look online yourself for programs that offer affiliate commissions for promoting their products.

Making money online doesn't have to be elusive, I think if you stick to the basic human needs then you can't go wrong.

    Hi Scott,

I was in the same boat but i went 1 step in the wrong direction and bought the silver membership.
I am the same only i spent heaps on hosting, traffic programs and aweber. I like you didnt make a cent so i have pulled out of the program to at least get rid of the monthly subcriber fees.
    I have 3 questions-
    1. did you stay in the program
    2. if you did, did you make any sales
    3. if you got out, were you able to get your $500 back as you mentioned above?
    Kind regards,
    Darryn Jockers.

I agree with the excellent advice everyone has offered here. I definitely would consider looking into the "bum" marketing method for now, some great ideas on promoting affiliate products for little to no money up front. Once you start earning some cash you can then start investing in more ways to earn cash.

You seem very goal oriented and ready for a challenge, so I know you can succeed if you keep up this excellent entrepreneurial spirit!

I just have to echo everyone what everyone else has said. Get out of that program and start promoting something through article marketing. You could even write your own ebook, it really isn't hard, and sell your own product.

    Hi,

Oh My I wrote this when I just awokened. so let me clarify:

Ok here is the deal. your doing what so many many people to do to try and make some cash online. your relying on a system that doesn't work. there is some things that do work and work well with a little effort your effort can be rewarded over and again.Business online or off requires patience it takes time it requires effort and it is not for everyone. having said that. Get Out of that ridiculous program and dive into the real world of Making Money. and disregard what I had posted serves me right for being a dork. I shamelessly say you need a mentor and a legit training program but I did not clarify anything by saying you need me and I shamlessly say so. to all my fellow warriors . I apologize for seeming a dork

There is a member of the Warrior forum who peddles that crap via his list, at every opportunity. I wonder if he will chime in and give you some advice? Don't hold your breath though!

I suspect a lot of people have lost a lot of money on this scheme, which promises the earth and delivers very little.

Anything that relies on the purchaser having to promote themselves as a 'success coach' or 'mentor' to sell the scheme on to others, to recoup their investment, often as little as a couple of weeks after they themselves bought into to it, is borderline scamming!

Cut your losses and move on with some of the excellent advice above. All the best for the future.

Well I shouldn't pick on names, but even the largest mlm in the world is facing the same issues currently.

          (NO GENUINE PRODUCTS)

Frankly, think about all the time and effort you have to put in to really make it in that industry, you'll probably do enormously better in traditional biz or IM biz.

I have friends wasted half of their lifetime in mlm, building, rebuilding and rebuilding their teams and that got nothing to do with believing in that company or not (they just couldn't give up after so many years of working 16 hours daily just trying to motivate yet another team member)

          So yes, QUIT!

          Just my 2 cents.

          Regards,
          Darren
