How would I position this?

Hi Warriors.

So, I'm lucky enough that i can generate warm leads via cold email marketing. I have a system that works, and it works well.

I want to be able to offer this as a service to companies who need more leads.

The thing is though, I'm god awful at selling. I can get the leads in but im no good with follow up calls. So setting up my own agency selling whatever hot product/service off the back of this just wouldn't work for me. Plus i don't want the hassle of the fulfilment. This is a complete side venture for me outsidemy regular 9-5.

My question is, how should i position this?

1.Should i approach companies and do it on a pay per lead basis? I know that I can target medium to large businesses and get success. What could i charge per lead for a foot in the door?

2. Perhaps agree a percentage of revenue split with any potential client. For this I'd have to A) trust they'd pay me and B) know they could convert well.

3. Offer some leads for free entirely and then try to nail them down with a retainer every month once they see the quality of the work.

Personally, I'm leaning towards number 3.

Any other suggestions welcome.

Cheers,

Luke

I'm not an expert in this by any means, but I would do #1 and charge by lead. How much you charge depends on the profit margin of the sales as well as closing rate. The issue here is that some businesses will close at a higher rate than others, making the leads more valuable to them than the others. If a business can't close, then the leads aren't worth much to them.

I would use a third-party call tracking service like Call Rail, so both sides can trust the stats.

While you say you're not good at sales, you still need to sell a business on your service.

The thing is though, I'm god awful at selling.

Here is your solution Luke; feel the fear of money in your being. Making money. Accepting money. Awkwardness around money. Clear the fear. Clear the charge. Become good at selling.

It is a neutral energy. It is just money. It is only money. But clearing the fear-illusion is the first step to remove the charge, so you remove the awful.

      Thanks for your input Ryan.

I appreciate the motivational pick me up, but honestly this is a side income (for the time being) which would be difficult for me to do as a full blown business. I can't currently dedicate all that time to selling and closing big deals, particularly for a new service that I'd have to learn all about and emerge myself in.

However, after it picks up and i see some good testimonials rolling in, I absolutely will try it.
