How do I charge this client?

Hello fellow WF members

Quick question, got a gig through UpWork, and the client wants me to set up, optimize advertising campaigns as well as setup new and optimize existing funnels.

Would it be better to charge a fixed rate or go by the hour?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, I just want to make the best possible decision.

Regards
Rudz

you already got the gig, as you say, so the price should have already been established. If not then how did you get the gig. How is it you would bid on a gig and not know how much to charge?

The question you ask can only be answered by you.

I would suggest charging by the hour. UNLESS you understand the work involved with the project and could set a price. Think of this as a learning process. by keeping track of the time it takes you to do these different aspects of what you are doing it can give you a base line to understanding what a flat rate fee that is fair to you and the other person might be.

Best of luck with this and congrats on landing the deal

    Hey buddy,
From your information you given I can see that you already got the gig. so the price should have already been established. If not then how did you get the gig. How is it you would bid on a gig and not know how much to charge?

You also mention that he asked you make choice .
Then You just go for Hourly payment. It will be a good decision. Because by this you can learn how much work you have spent for this project. So asked him for a hourly price.

Remember that Hourly payment also safer and secure than fixed price. Because Upwork ensured your payment. So nothing to worried. Just go for it and do your job.

The question you ask can only be answered by you.

If you do not understand what this work involves, you should charge by the hour, if you do, negotiate to a fair fixed price.
