What is Your Daily Routine for Marketing?

As an internet marketer, blogger, network marketer, or home business owner, what is your daily routine for marketing? How much time you do you spend on marketing each day and what activities do you focus on?

Some of my daily routine includes:
  • Sending emails on safelists
  • Emailing my own list
  • Monitoring my PPC ads
  • Updating Facebook
  • Publishing new videos, articles and content
  • Leaving 2-3 blog comments

I try to set a monthly marketing budget of $500 to $1,000.

    That's a good question.

I have a disciplined routine too:

11am - 12pm - check my metrics and structure / outline my piece of daily content

    12pm - 1pm - create my content

    1pm - 2pm - edit my content

2pm - 4pm - repurpose the content, email it to my list, and promote on social media

Then in the evening I'll return back to the computer and do some minor funnel tweaking while the missus watches TV shows that I have no interest in.

I rotate, but fundamentally, here's what I try to do:
    • Sending emails to my lists
    • Write articles/posts for authorative sites
    • Do research for current and new niches
    • Create videos, recordings or images or any type of content that can be distributed
    • Network
    • Review/Optimize campaigns
    • Launch new campaigns
    • check in with AM's

I rotate as well. Here is what I did today.

7am-10am Day Job as Forex Trader.
    10-10:15 Break
10:15-11 Make daily phone calls to social media clients and partners.
11-1 Work on content and reports for clients
    1-1:30 Lunch
1:30-3 Checking ads and demographics for products bought. Aslo Checking Email Lists
3-5 Finding ways to lower CPA, checking charts, left over tasks.

The marketing part takes up about a third of my day for my clients. In my experience I have found the best marketing tool combination to be email lists with YouTube. If you do not have a YouTube page I highly reccomend it. For example one of my clients/friend make around $400 a month from youtube and he reinvests 100% back into testing out new marketing strategies for selling products and newsletter sign ups.

I wake up in the morning, do a quick 30-minute muscle building workout, add an email to my consulting autoresponder followup series, write a new piece of content for all of my clients and myself, post on forums, check my PPC campaigns, and that's pretty much it. Much of the automation is done with the paid advertising i do. But the workout in the morning sets my day for me.

Great wisdom, Randall. I think it's important to get some exercise in and have a healthy breakfast to start your day right. I am updating my routine right now, based off all the input I have received from everyone on this thread. I will keep everyone posted and then share it after I fine tune it for about 7 days.

    Cool Chuck.

    My gig.

    - wake and do 1 hour deep yin yoga
    - write first post or do video post
    - respond to posts on Warrior
    - comment on blogs
    - write or film 2nd post
    - write guest post
    - exercise 60 minutes
    - write or film 3rd blog post
    - Facebook Live video

This is a rough breakdown of my daily routine. Adding physical activity too because it plays a big part in raising my energy levels.

That's a great routine, Ryan. Do you do that Monday through Friday, or all seven days per week? Do you do any type of paid advertising or is everything you do content based? Also, do you outsource any tasks?
