Hello Warriors,

I have been working with amazon and many other aff programs in the past and I am trying to push the amazon affiliate program a little more.

With teh ebay affiliate program I know that you cant use names like Sony or Lego in the domain but do you know if this is the case with amazon? I have looked on their site but I have not found anything.

Any ideas

To be on safer side use Amazon trademarked domains on sub domain

Like,

amazon.yoursite.com
amazon-shop.yoursitename.com

I have had a couple of Amazon sites with a trademarked name in the domain for over a year with no problems. The only trademarked names they have a problem with (that I know of) is their own proprietary names like Amazon, Kindle, etc.

Of course, you could always use a redirect before sending the traffic to Amazon and they won't know what your domain name is.

Amazon Web Services Developer Community : Product Advertising API (formerly Amazon Associates Web Service)

Most questions are of a more technical nature, but you might get a quicker response there.

Hi Danny,

So far I don't have a problem with that because what I'm doing ultimately help to promote back their website. They will give to get extra traffic as well as sale. Don't your agree?

If any case they contact you due to legal stuff, just give them the domain name and get over to the next product. Keep building sites and your profit will fall in just like waterfall.

I think I might play it safe and just keep teh way I was heading I cant be arsed with more legal stuff had my fair share in teh last few months!
