How do I legally Sell "Replicas"

I know counterfeit goods are illegal.

I spoke to someone who advertised on FB Replica airpods so i'm confused how that even works.

If i were to create a banner "Airpod Replicas" and state on the landing page that its just a different brand with some similar design chaacteristic as airpod" am i in the safe?

I think a good play with words would help you do the trick. The word "replicas" are now warned in Facebook.

I would be careful when selling counterfeits on social media - platforms like Facebook and Instagram have upped their game with this. Sites like Aliexpress and Alibaba have become difficult as well for counterfeiters - I read this research publication about it https://www.redpoints.com/webinars/c...-social-media/

I have found "Genuine counterfeits for less" to be effective. Be careful though (ie subdued) when using brand names in your promotions. It must be clearly noted that there is no association with the brand. In addition, to get the product through customs when importing, be sure the brand name nor any derivative of the brand name is not mentioned

If you run into legal problems, do you believe saying "people on a forum said it was ok" will save you?

Do you really want to mess with the legal team at Apple? I don't think so. The name "Airpod" is surely trademarked/tradenamed. Using the word "airpod" in any way that has to do with commercial sales of a similar or competing product is just asking for trouble, IMO.

Why take even a chance? Market your product on it's own merits without infringing upon the legal rights of a giant already established in the industry.
